- Hi my Friends, in this episode I'm making 10 ton fruit press (apple cider press) to make our own apple juice. We have about 30 apple trees in our garden, so I decided for powerful hydraulic press. Enjoy this video and if you like it than please share/like/subscribe!

Where can I fund that hydraulic air pressure device (which is used to send pressure air to upper drum to press the crushed apples)

Если что сломается или доски сгниют - он не будет сдавать агрегат свой в ремонт, и те не будут вить с него деньги за то, что какая-нибудь железяка или деревяка из-за рубежа очень долго идёт и стоит полцарства. Сделает всё сам, глазом не моргнув! Ну и, конечно же, знания и инструмент. МОЛОДЕЦ!!!

I built a similar press, but instead of spending days fabricating, I bought 20 ton harbor freight press for $180. Works just as well. the round plate and the wooden blocks - i did the same thing.

Hiiii, hello from Serbia 🇷🇸, awsome thing u made, I must tell that my father made same for me 20 t, with inox cilindar, and I make cold pressed wallnut oil and hazelnut oil, and beet root juice, carrot juice and much more... Congratulations Michal. That is a good press for household use and the best thing is that you have made it with the little help and assistance of your lovely child. Here in Hungary we use a grape press for pressing fruits. The hydraulic press is a good idea. Viva V4!

cool project. I want to do something similar for pomegranates. Instead of spending time building a press I was thinking about buying one from Norther Tool or who ever. I also thought I wanted a 1/4" wall 16" S.S. pipe with a sieve and funnel on the bottom. turns out I will spend 2000 bucks to make zero and impress my uncles. since i don't what to spend so much on pipe, what do you think about me doing like you did out of pecan wood? Your barrel looks great by the way.
Very nicely made. How did you decide 10 tons was the correct force for the diameter of the press? I have had a hard time finding out how hard to press the ground up apples. I have been told as a wild guess 100 psi. So for your press that would mean about a 16 inch diameter wooden cylinder to put the ground fruit in. What diameter did you use and did you max out your force to 10 tons? How did you decide which size steel frame to use?

That should be used to press grapes into wine. Then what's left (it's called "djibra") will be used to make Rakia!
