How Buster managed to live to be 70 years old is a miracle considering all those dangerous stunts....he was truly amazing, no one will ever equal him....Chaplin, Lloyd and others were good, but Buster was THE GREATEST of them all.......
This video popped up on my RUclips feed a few months ago. I had remembered Buster only as an old man. This was eye-opening! I've been obsessed ever since.
Oh my. What a awesome presentstion. I lov lov lov buster. All those stunts he did were wonderful. Ihope that he never hurt himself doing them . Some looked very dangerous. God Bless Buster.
Shaune Steele No doubt...my god at 2:48 when he falls head first from the top of a fence onto a concrete curb...that, and a million other things he did....Buster had astonishing body control and sheer guts. How he did not land in the hospital day in and day out still floors me every time I watch him. He was tough as nails while also being adorable...just love him to bits.
Awesome!! Well done, I love it!! Buster is King! This really showcases his incredible physicality, as the other poster mentioned. Probably the best editing I have ever seen on a tribute montage, wow!
4:09 here he actually landed on the rail in an awkward position, because of the water pressure, and broke his neck. After the incident he recalled having a stiff neck and light headache but drank some whisky and felt better in the morning and it wasn' until much later, when a doctor told him, that he knew he had a broken neck
The only time he used a stunt double, that I know of, is in the college movie where he pole jumps through a second story window, in that scene they used an olympic champion because he didn't want to waste production/filming time learning how to pole jump.
Buster Keaton was a great actor, vaudeville artist, genius, teacher, director, writer, producer, scriptwriter, acrobat, dancer, never used doubles ... legend. Immortal, the Best Actor of All Time!!!!!!!!!

Buster Keaton- to me - will always be the greatest actor who ever lived. ❤️

4:11 Buster Keaton actually fractured his neck during this stunt! He didn't know about it until a decade later.
los locos años 20!

What's 1:06 from?
nevermind, I know now. It's from Doughboys.
He is not funny
You obviously have no sense of humour then.
@@TinLizzie-uc1jw at least appreciate his physicality and that he did his own stunts
The true master of his craft
@JamesJasek your not funny

Lili Pukita fun fact he didn’t write scripts amazing right
@@drnpictures2155 he thought the importance was the beginning and end and the middle came whilst filming. A good improviser too so to speak :)
