This episode was great! Like going to Crackle Barrel and eating the Big Daddy breakfast. Good stuff about the communicability of energies and the analogy of inflamed metal. Most Protestants and Catholics get this confused when it comes to the demonic and their mechanical explanations. When it comes to the question of what has been communicated, is it the essence or the energies, the answer is the energies. Dr. Jacobs's answer on how this happens? Something of the operative powers of those demons that energize it with whom the demoniac is in communion have been communicated to it. The analogy he uses: The idea here is that something of the nature of fire has been communicated to the metal.

I’m not Orthodox and I’m not ready to jump fully into this worldview, but 3 views? Come on! How can anyone who even thinks about God not find this discussion fascinating? Especially when there is so much time wasting crap out there. Thanks Dr Jacobs
