They went for heavily CGI in Maison & Vision to reduce the waste of non-reusable props & set in the MV making...totally align with their Environmental Theme in Apocalypse Trilogy.

I honestly don't see anything bad with the CGI, I thought it looked cool as hell. Reminds me of early 2000's a bit but that's fine.

Agreed. It's actually much better. They paid more attention to the lighting and the crops, rotoscoping, whatever it's called, you know, where they overlay the members on to CGI, is a lot cleaner.
You'll notice the lighting improvements in the scenes where they are throwing lightning around. You can see the flashes of light on them, like you'd see if it were real lightning.
Out of all the Final chorus high notes from their Title tracks, Vision's has got to be the most goosebumps inducing. Like I expected it, but the chills I felt were woow
That break before the high note really does give it a lot of impact.
"Vision" is part 2 of the Apocalypse trilogy. I believe they are showing us the perspective from the future in this series, showing us how the earth looks like when we keep acting like we do. While "Maison" was talking about the destruction of the environment, here they seem to be talking about the destruction due to war. I don't know if that was the idea from the beginning, but Putin's aggression definitely played a role here. In one set they even dance in front of what looks sort of like a huge trident, which is the coat of arms of Ukraine (could be a coincidence though, or this is me seeing things).
It is easy to see how the conflict in Ukraine could result in global destruction. It's just a push of a button away. Note that Dami presses a launch button, but it's not for nukes. It's for spreading their message, their vision. Peace. To be heard all around the world. The song is also a call for action, to stand together against aggressors and those who are destroying the planet out of greed. There is not much difference between someone leading an army or a corporation, if the result is destruction. Still, Dami said the intention is to resolve the problems in a peaceful way.
So, what do we do? There is no easy answer. Dami has an outfit that shows that perfectly. One half is an innocent bridal dress, the other half is simply badass. What I know is that any aggressor only listens to very limited diplomacy, and they need to know that the good in the world is ready and willing to fight them if needed. Whoever the aggressor is, we are more than them. They need to know they will never succeed, the only option is peace.
By the way, my interpretation could be completely wrong, any other theory is perfectly valid as well.
Musically, it's heavier than Maison, and I feel it fits the subject matter very well. It sounds aggressive and heavy, but also soft and vulnerable. There is the duality again. And I love the fake keychange at the end of the chorus, the crazy bass and the guitar in the bridge. All in all this is a fantastic release!

Vision is part two of the Apocalypses series, which is about saving the planet. Maison was about pollution. Vision is about the destruction caused by war. Notice the marching and saluting in the choreo, the flags and the 'Peace' posters. They are giving us a vision of that destruction in the MV.
I'm very curious to see what part three will be about.
I felt the same way about the chorus at first. I think if you don’t have some kind of bass booster setting, the chorus will sound flat for some reason. Kinda like Maison, something about this trilogy feels as though the instruments are more computerized than actual real instruments. But I swear when the volume is all the way up with some bass boosted speakers… this song is an absolute banger

Well with the apocalypse story they wanted to shows world destruction so is really imposible to do that without CGI. At least this one is better than Maison.

Choreo not as heavy? This is the first DC MV that had me head banging to the choreo since Scream. If it were any heavier it would be straight up metal.
Also the dig about the CGI. Is it perfect in Vision? No. But it's significantly improved over MAISON which looked very cheap in parts. I loved MAISON but this MV is above it in my heart.
Yeah I could only expect that their headphones have zero bass response. This is one of their heaviest hardest choruses.
And yes also the CGI is absolutely fine and much improved over Maison. Kind getting tired of people's anti-cgi BS bias. Not everyone can waste a ton of money on sets like Blackpink does (and frankly doesn't always show the money spent).
These 2 are always spending too much time being overdramatic and then get to the end with no clue of what anything was about. Sigh...

OH MY GOODNESS YES YES YES!! Again so Sorry that I'm late, I've been VERY busy lately- but dude THIS SONG IS EVERYTHING I loved every part just WOW! This legit had me speechless I don't know what to say (if I had to pick between Maison or Vision I might go Vision I mean I love Maison but there's something about this Music Video that I just LOVE) like JiU with this pink hair and her outfits PLUS her freaking Vocals went off like holy cow and at 4:50 that is so cool with the crosses in her eyes, SuA could step on me like WOW she did not have to go this hard her vocals were crazy and RAPPER SUA IS BACK Y'ALL- my jaw dropped, Siyeon went OFF like Wow her hair was absolutely amazing and her EYES ARE SO PIERCING not to mention her vocals at the end such a GREAT vocalist, Handong legit had me speechless with her looks like that short hair on her- she can step on me and she's always getting iconic lines like "Gonna get you, gonna get you Karma" Wow, Yoohyeon just WOW her Vocals were insane and her whole look- and her body like GOALS especially with that blue outfit my jaw legit dropped, Dami- DAMI this might be her era (not sure they all killed it) THE BLONDE HAIR and her freaking Rap was just insane and her outfits just holy cow just YES, and Gahyeon SHE WAS SO LETHAL LIKE WHAT THE HECK- the Maknae almost killed me with her vocals and visuals not to mention her facial expressions! Anyways I can't wait for you guys to react to more Dreamcatcher such as more Music Videos, B - Sides, Live Performances, Covers, Dance Practices, Moments, and of course Ships! This is part 2 of Apocalypse so it makes sense why they also used CGI but a better version, and the meaning of this trilogy is important to understand it, not just whipped by their ad-lib or high note, as expected it is Dreamcatcher.. of course, they will always deliver us.
