Matt, I’m just an old man but you’re really a good guy to listen to. I started drawing cars when I was in grade school and just figured out how to draw them as I went along, it just came to me. I have never been able to put it in words. You have done all of that and more. Like Jadykov said “I like they way how you thinking. Keep going!” Thanks so much.😊
This tutorial has strongly convinced me to paint cars. I've helped repair cars, but for the life of me I can't 'name' cars by brand when I see them on the road. Even the newest cars I've rented for work... a few weeks later I'm not sure what car I was just driving, but I can recall how well they drove in the mountains. But in my sketching, I've found myself including cars (and trucks, boats, farm machinery etc.). When Liron Y published an art instruction book on cars, I was thinking... why would I WANT to paint them? but I really do enjoy his work. Then I thought, this might be a good step toward painting my husband's old cars, as a gift for him (he's a mechanic). NOW, with your guidance Matthew, I feel some genuine excitement to paint cars. Your explanations about perspective are excellent, simplified but not dummed down. So Thank you SO MUCH.
Greets from Russia. Metthew, im really satisfied of your work! And i was shocked when i realised not much people is watching your videos. Coz you telling the simple truth like Bob Ross. You teaching people not to only paint with aquarelle watercolor but feel the scene and understand the physics if i can say that way! Good job! Wish you became a famous! I like they way how you thinking. Keep going! Sorry for my eng if i did a mistakes someday ill become better ;-)
Fantastic. You make it look so easy. I don’t want to take away from such an informative video but I recently saw another video by Liron Y on cars and remember that you also need to watch the alignment of the tires. I have a lot of trouble with cars but I will try and spend some time practicing your suggestions to see if I can improve. Thanks so much.
Hey, Matt. I’ve never really worried about drawing vehicles. But, I sat & watched your tutorial today. Fascinating! TYSM, for your time, & your good advice. This video’s instructions can be translated into a how to for any other type of project needing perspective. Cool!
Hiya Matthew, thanks very much for another really great tutorial. I'm hopeless at painting vehicles but this has helped a lot, and with plenty of practice my paintings will become properly populated! Are you all set for Christmas? Take care, David.
Great Video Matt, Love doing cars, going to put these tips in full effect tonight working on a NASCAR drivers ride. You on Facebook would like to get some critique on a couple pieces. Thanks again..

Matthew and Liron are two wonderful 'bookends' to our watercolor world, I love the both for their generous tutorials.
