It's really cool you made this video so others can literally see what the process is like. I created an account on varsity tutors a few months ago but other things came up and I forgot about it. I logged in today and there isn't anything about an interview. It has a list of assessments for me to take and has me approved for some subjects and others it says "pending". It also has a section to upload transcripts, resume, and drivers license. Do you have to send your transcripts to get an interview? I see nothing about an interview when I log in.

I had previously worked for Varsity Tutors years before, so they let me know that I already had a teacher account! I ended up just working for Outschool though because I am able to make more money with Outschool.

Hello Basi! I so wish that you could! Unfortunately, because of the required background check you have to be applying from the US or Canada. They check this via IP address. I do have a friend who was hired with Outschool while living in the US and teaches for them in Europe now. I did this this morning! They told me it would be 8 minutes on a text message, but the link on my e-mail led me to this process that was a bit longer. Oh well. It is finished. :) It took me about 20 minutes, they said it would be 25 minutes.

Hello! So I had worked for Varsity Tutors in person momentarily years before, so when my application went through they let me know I was technically still employed with them. I had the option to start trying to work for Varsity Tutors for potentially a lot less pay or continue teaching Spanish on Outschool where I make a lot more money. So I chose to continue to work for Outschool. It is helpful to know that if I ever lose my Outschool job, then I have a solid backup plan for continuing to earn an income from home.
