this was very special as 'wake of the flood' hadn't been released yet so this was the latest instance of hearing a new tune live for the first time in concert and going - good grief what was that epic song..?? so fitting for its time & space ..
Love this song and for those that don’t know what Bobby does or can’t hear him this will school you. Why they ever cut this song short I’ll never know. I can do without the horns.
Thank you for sharing! I was at this show..Wake of the Flood is one awesome album.

One of my favorite Dead songs. Bobby did it great last year at Radio City. Horns and Strings really do it justice.
Wonderful to feel this again, 2 days after my b- day, I always enjoyed the east coast shows, swell tune

the late great Martin Fiero, who later played with the Legion of Mary with Jerry Garcia and with Zero
Could be Branford Marcella’s or the guy from Springsteen band. Just like the Dead. Introduce no one ask the oracles only they know.
