@@plasmaoctopus1728 In the game, the PC talks to the drone and then it programs itself to have the PC as it's master. Assuming Kevin fed it batteries enough, it would also have saved him at the end.

Trevor Gomez there was actually a direct reference to Goebbels (Hitler’s minister of propaganda) in the official letter for national headliner-at 17:32, see Joseph(ine) Goebbels. Though I suppose the same sort of idea applies to Mussolini (and all fascist/fearmongering leaders in general) too.
on top of it, the whole game seems to be an allegory to Russia.
at 2:00 you can see Dmitry Medvedev's blurred pic. he's PM of Russia, as well as the President from 2008 to 2012. even his last name, Wolff, is a pun on his real last name - Medvedev - which comes from the word "medved" - "a bear".
considering all the xenophobia going on in Russia and nationalistic talk like "Russia's for Russians, Earth is for Earthlings, Mars is for Martians, etc." the message of the whole game is pretty clear.
Not really, Mussolini was part of a facist Rebel group which the government could’ve easily crashed. But the nation was dealing with so many problems at that time and everyone (especially the socialists and communists) were blaming everything on the king of Italy. Knowing well that this wasn’t going to end good, the King hired Mussolini as the prime minister so he would be his fall guy and help solve the problems that went on in Italy. Of course Mussolini eventually got fired after the allies invaded Italy and basically everyone hated both the King and prime minister.
