Luck plays a lot of role in stories like this. You cannot go from 100$ a month to 150$ an hr without a magic wand of luck behind you. Not everyone will be as successful as this guy even if they invest as much time and effort as him. So don't blindly follow his story. Think, calculate your risks and plan your career.
I agree with u. Everyone's struggles and path are different even if two people are from top or tier 3 colleges, have same qualifications and greater intelligence. luck matters alot. We should not compare ourselves to succesfull people. We should take their story and path as an inspiration to make changes and focus on areas to improve in career.
That's not the point , the expectation of being as successful as someone is wrong itself , put in the effort , the result will come accordingly. Not trying and just blaming luck is what people like you do.

People who have internet are generally smarter than people who don't. But that is not always true e.g. you. Defining of Success for people does not always translate to money. There are tons of doctors helping out people without the so called success your Varun bhaiya has achieved. Not everyone is fame hungry. And coming to your point of wealthy parents or coming from a family of means. Would you agree that chances of someone creating a startup with prior experience of family business is higher than a person whose family work has been agriculture. You find your answer in the above question. Having financial privilege and exposure enable you to take such business risks. For every 1 successful stories there are 10 failure stories which did not work out. So it would be foolish to startup without having a proper back. Coz your JOSHtalk do not call people who failed so that we can learn from stories of failure.
