The guy wearing the Dodger’s cap blew my mind. Just an amazing PERFORMANCE from the entire group. None of the stage performances moved me like this dance practice vid (mostly due to costuming choices; took away the strong lines/contours of their bodies with frumpy cut-off jackets, and ditched the hats, which IMO were needed to accentuate their head movements). Thank you for your insights on dance moves/styles.
I really intrigued by her choice for bulky male dancer for this dance that has a lot of feminine lines, which accentuate Somi’s strength - her feminine dance lines. Previously her backdancers are females, so when she coming out with definite muscle man, I was so surprised. Not only because they killing it, they also give personality to the performance. I keep repeating to see each person’s movement, and they are so good individually!
I couldn’t figure out what “genre” the hook was either and my partner nailed it-it’s UK garage-and it’s soooo good 🔥 The choreo is *everything* and gives me vogueing vibes! Great reaction 🫶🏼
