As someone who’s been following Somi since Sixteen, I’ll never get tired of people discovering her discography. Sure, I wish there was *more of it* but I can only complain about that for so long 💀
Also fun fact about the XOXO music video; they wanted a foreign actor for the Cop drive-by and Somi was like “Oh wait, I can just call my dad!”, so that’s her father in the MV.
Actually XOXO Album has a trilogy MV start from DUMBDUMB to XOXO any lastly ANYMORE🤍
She is an entire kpop group. The most talented woman on Korea. Also a BIG BLINK and XOXO has a lot of BP's callbacks. Amazing. She also has reallly good choreos, you shuld watch her dance, DUMB DUMB choreo is amazing.
Somi is not blink, she doesn't even follow them on Instagram. Plus she never mentions them as friends. This song is composed by Teddy, like all bp songs. So he makes self-references to himself. 😂
Somi is truly impeccable, and I very quickly fell in love with her when I discovered Kpop in 2020. Her voice, styling, and overall energy is just so captivating. She's really special.
Dumbdumb then XoXo. Same boyfriend. Luv Somi. Also her series 'I am Somi' is cool.. Shes so funny too. Girl could literally be a comedian also.

I love SOMI so much! She has a pretty extensive history of being in the industry even before she debut, her transition from JYP to the black label, etc. Overall has always made some feel good music

These 2 songs sre part of a 3-part story (MV) which is in this order: Dumb Dumb, XOXO, Anymore. Most of what you see in XOXO is in her mind, that's why the ending scene iis in the same setting as the start of the MV.
You missed her MV for Anymore! It's such a good song, I think you'll really like it as it's something different. You should do a double reaction with it and her new MV coming out Gold Gold Gold!?

Another Fun Fact if you will... She was born in Canada, hence the Hockey Stick. And then she used her Taekwondo kick as well. She was horribly bullied in School as being a "Half Breed" and learned her Martial Arts skills from her Dad. She is a 7th Dan, Black Belt. I'm Canadian and could not be prouder of her.
Somi's comeback in 2021 was a trilogy of mv's. In order: 'Dumb Dumb', 'XOXO' (the continuation), and 'Anymore' which is a slight folk power ballad and ends the story arc. You'll just need to check out 'Birthday' her debut track from 2019 and "What You Waiting For" her cb in 2020. A little tidbit, Pink Sweat$ composed both XOXO and Anymore.

I want you so much to watch Idol Drama Operation Team (short show, can find it on yt): 7 idols write a short kdrama about a group debuting, incorporation their own experiences and struggles. The first part of the show is the produciton of it, the second half is the drama itself.
Why do I want you to see it? Because I believe you know and love at least 4 of them: Moonbyul, Seulgi, Yooa, Somi and the team also has Ryu Sujeong (former Lovelyz), D.ana (former Sonamoo) and Kim Sohee (Produce101, Nature).
They came out with a single for it: Deep Blue Eyes
