Thank you so much for reviewing our product and sharing us with your fans! Our name, 30 SECONDS, comes from seeing the cleaner starting to work in 30 seconds, or instantly on pet urine apparently :)
My pleasure
I really enjoyed this video. Great information and demo. I loved your descriptive style.
Nice tips man thank you for the video!! I have a huge composite deck and needed this helpful tips
I’ve been power washing customers houses/decks for years and narrowed it down to this. 1 gallon liquid chlorine for pools (10% sodium hypochlorite) to 3 gallons water in a Stihl back pack sprayer. Key is to completely saturate all the siding/decking/fencing/gutters/etc. I then come behind with a 2800 pressure washer to basically just rinse the surface of chemical. Works like a charm! 1 gallon at Walmart under $5
Hi thanks for that...long term would the pressure washer hurt the wood?
Pretty sure it voids warranty
Great video! Needed the visual lesson thanks
Thank you for good detailed information 😊
Short and to the point 👉 thanks
"Dogs like to pee on stuff". Truer words are rarely spoken.
a tip: you can watch movies at flixzone. Been using them for watching a lot of movies recently.
@Romeo Damari Definitely, I have been using Flixzone for years myself =)
Solid, I've had good luck using oxy clean.
Yup it’s better
Hey Dr. Decks. Great video. Do you use this product before delivery to a client or do you only use it for a deck that has been in use for several years? We are just finishing up a large project and I’m curious how to remove marks/stains from Azek Timbertech pvc.
Sodium hypochlorite appeared to work great the first several times for molds. With routine use, the mold got worse and worse. It began rapidly returning within days or weeks! I guess this is scientifically why EPA & OSHA do not recommend it's use for mold. I eventually found and used a product called Corte Clean and have been for years. It doesn't have all the problems of sodium hypochlorite. In addition to the molds, it cleans the grease/oil under the barbecue and doesn't corroded the structural metal decking hardware. It actually removed the rust stains the sodium hypochlorite caused. It even restored some of the original color the sodium hypochlorite excessively bleached. While it may appear to cost a little more, overall, I have spent less, especially labor, over the years. My extremely expensive Trex deck almost looks like the day it was installed. You should check it.
You should have a grill mat.
@@johnwagnon5 I have one that's fire resistant but grease & oil still splatter all over the place & need to be cleaned. Thanks for reminding me to order some more Corte Clean.
I have a job coming up, really nice home, with a Trex deck and steps. I'm going to try and order some of that corte cleaner you've mentioned here. Gonna turn the psi down on my 4gal Simpson pw. Probably use a decent mild scrub brush. Any suggestions?
Does 30 seconds cleaner damage trex railing?
Should I be concerned about trees and shrubs that might get hit with spray and/or runoff ..?
I don’t know know if it is a paid advertisement, or you just like it. But even if yes, it seems to be hones and genuine, not just marketing bs:)
H2O AND water is in it. Nice.
what is better to place the deck board over the fascia, or butt into the fascia?? Trex says not to butt the deck into the fascia.
I prefer to cover all end grains on fascia boards
where did you get the brush?
He said he thinks he got it at home Depot or maybe Lowe's.
On their website they state that 30 Second Cleaner "does not contain regular household bleach" but Sodium Hypochlorite is an ingredient in bleach. What's the difference? Regardless, 30 Second Cleaner is great!
SH is usually 10-12.5% regular house hold bleach is 3%
So, cam you use 30 sec cleaner on trex deck, or diluted SH?
Did you watch? lol sh is in the 30 sec
Yeah, I watched. And yes I know sh is in 30 sec cleaner. My question to HIM, was can you use diluted sh, just plain bleach (10 or 12.5), and if so I would ask him what strength/percentage he would recommend. @@Turtle-sz7sk
Can that kind of deck be painted?
Apparently yes and u can stain it. Wash it first
I would like to see the same test, but only use Dawn dish washing soap/water, the same scrub brush and garden hose
