Chris is basically in a tuxedo here compared to his normal dress. You can tell he took this podcast seriously because of the special relationship with Jay.
Chris is difficult to interview properly. Only Jay could do it. No one else. Dave is doing something that is centered around his personality. This is history
Chris Aceto is always interesting to listen to, himself, Milos, Dave, and Ameen always rly inspire me when I listen to their stories and their knowledge. Jay Cutler meeting Aceto was pure destiny, those Ironman pictures of Jay are something I've never seen elsewhere, most unbelievable separation and roundness. Superb episode, the part where Chris talked about his illness was pretty heavy. I love hearing the ups and down, in the end it all worked out!
Met Chris at the Chicago pro this year and went up to say hello and said hello Mr aceto , he looked at me like don’t bother me and walked away 😅😅😅😅😅😅 . I’m blessed as a 51 year old bodybuilding fan to say Chris Aceto disapproved of the way I looked 😅😅😅😅😅
I had to sit down and watch this because I knew how amazing of an interview it was gonna be. I love watching jays videos every week, and Aceto on palumbo’s show each week. This is one of the greatest and historic bodybuilding interviews ever
I remember seeing Jay at Dr. Phillips High School guest posing for a local Orlando Fl show sometime in 2000s. He was posing to I think Lincoln Park or Creed. But he was unfriggin believable. He kind of walked through the back of the auditorium and my gf at the time and I were like wth is that seeing the calves, he was huge never seen someone that big. I was impressed w his business sense though. He had a table set up and was selling his book and signing it in the lobby. Super smart to take advantage of that. 🎉
Great interview, one I’ve been waiting for. It shows your respect, admiration, and appreciation for Chris and his involvement in your journey. Love the stroll down memory lane and going into more detail from my favorite era in BB history
Such a legend in the industry. So glad to have him sit in on a podcast. In particular having a son & actively trying to find a bb coach for him is just not that easy. They don’t make em like the OGs anymore 🐐- I’m thankful as a former competitor I had two amazing coaches. Any tips though for the younger guys coming up in the industry other than some of the obvious ones? Quality is important and yes it will cost, but it’s understood from my viewpoint (Son is 17 almost 18 & training for years waiting for the moment he was old enough to get a coach) As always the podcast is hands down my fav regarding this industry. 👏🏻👏🏻 thanks to Chris for coming on to share his wisdom as well.
I know so many of these stories from watching you both over the years and they are still as good and the fact that you both still have such a good relationship after all of these years shows that you are true friends
This was such a great podcast to watch. You can authentically see Jay’s respect and admiration for Chris written all over his face. That alone Made the interview that much better
Love the history of these 2 guys!! Epic episode! I never expected you to be as good as he turned out to be after he won the Nationals and got beat by Willie stalling. But after seeing him at the 01 Olympia I was shocked! What really amazed me was how great his color looked! I don't know how he did it. Funny how Branch didn't figure it out until later in his career🤔
Great episode, Jay!! I’m a very precise guy with my wildlife photography and with my hobby of bodybuilding. The details make such a difference and I really enjoyed learning what it takes to be the best. I am always striving to create a better composition in photography or to get a better angle on the muscle to maximize the results in the gym. These little details, going the extra 2 percent makes a huge difference between being good and being great. Never satisfied until you give it your all!!❤ thanks for the inspiration this week!!
There is just something so special about 90s bodybuilding. I love hearing about it. Halfway through the video so far but this is an awesome episode of the CutlerCast
I enjoyed the reminiscing. There’s a lot of history here. We are all in the people business and I think that is what Chris and Jay were describing here. This is way bigger than bodybuilding.
Absolute legend conversation that feels more like a documentary about their relationship and journey!! Jay and Chris are great to listen to . I like Chris here vs how he is on Rx Muscle
I remember meeting Chris and Laura in early 90’s at the Santa Monica stairs off 6th St. Remember seeing Jay and Chris at the firehouse cafe. The best days of bodybuilding back then. 🙌🏼💪🏼
I promise im not bias, (im Iranian origins & im proud of Hany Rambod a legend) but imagine your four time Mr Olympia, your the icon Jay Cutler!!!! not only do you give great advice and great content he actually reply's to comments what a LEGEND!! and great Man to look up to. thanks Jay...
2 of the best dudes on this planet, true OG's. Hani has NOTHING on Chris Aceto.... 💪 Jay you are truly one of the 🐐 of all time and me as a sales leader you are a very underestimated business mentor of mine.
i love listening to Jay and Chris! I love listening to Chris and his stories! Very inspirational to me when I started working out in the mid 1980's I remembered seeing his competition photos and couples posing with (his former wife) Laura Creavalle 😎🤘💪
This was a great Podcast. Congrats Jay, Matt and Chris. Thanks for bringing up 09. Its obvious Jay and Chris have so much respect for each other and a solid friendship. Its good you guys could talk about that on the podcast. It obviously it hurt Chris because he brought Jay up and was his inly "coach" but Jay needed that change. I always thought 09 was his best look but i went back and really took a look at it and i now agree 01 was such a crazy look. Just a younger fresher physique. Thanks for this podcast guys. Matt if you ever have Chris on again ask him how is it he never blew anyones stomach out? Jay had a wider waist but it was never blown out. Would love to hear his opinion on that especially after whats going on with Nick. And what would he do if he had a guy fealing with that.
So amazing to see.....was it 2000 i think when Jay was renting an apartment with Kerry in mass and Chris came over to check on your diet, what times waiting for muscular development to come out to the UK and then 2004/5 RUclips was established.
Loved the podcast. Had no clue you were from Worcester. That’s my hometown as well. Used to run track and play football at Burncoat high. Played Wachusett a bunch but eventually went on to run track at Harvard. It’s always good to see dudes from the 508 doing well. Good luck with whatever you decide to pursue in the future.
Ya I dont think people know how close Aceto and Jay are.. Chris if people dont know taught Jay alot about business and real estate as well. If I had an hour with Aceto It wouldnt be about diet and bodybuilding... 100% I would be picking his brain on real estate investing, dude is a beast in real estate.
I'm not sure if it's the New England accent or their jawline, Jay and Chris could be mistaken for siblings. 😁 Great conversation with the technician. I didn't know they shared such a long relationship. Thanks for sharing 🥇💪🏻
Chris is basically in a tuxedo here compared to his normal dress. You can tell he took this podcast seriously because of the special relationship with Jay.
I'm surprised he's not wearing his 80's ski jacket
He also showered and combed his hair. A rare sight
He got this outfit last minute at the local Salvation Army and haggled with the cashier and got the price of the jacket down from 5.99 to 5.49
See him on Saturday . He will not have slept in days !
He's wearing the same coat as last year
Jay and Matt spoiling us like its Christmas!! Love you both so much!
thanks!
Absolutely!! 💪🏽💯
This was an interview we waited 2+ years for, and was well worth it! Thanks Chris!
Best yet !
This might just be my favourite cutler pod to date
thanks
@@CutlerCastwould be great if we could have hanny on
Same. Need Ronnie and Hany on too.
Agree BEST GUEST EVER
Chris is difficult to interview properly. Only Jay could do it. No one else. Dave is doing something that is centered around his personality. This is history
Cheat meals is equivalent to saving all your money for 30 days and loose it in 2hrs at the casino (Chris Aceto quote) Best advice ever
Bruh. Thanks for this
LEGENDARY QUOTE😝
Holy shit, this is Mr. Olympia of bodybuilding interviews!
boooooom
Love , Chris stories . I could listen for hours
I can listed to Aceto talk about literally anything. Hahaha. Him and Jay being candid like this was awesome.
Aceto is a legend, that polish Shawn Roden had in 2018 was exceptional. Now it is time to Andrew to be another shocker
Andrew js gonna be a standout soon... hes that good
Been waiting for this podcast for years! Aceto in the house.
hope you enjoy
This is the best podcast and conversation of bodybuilding I've seen. These guys have such passion.
thanks

What a fantastic interview! The friendship and collaboration between Chris and Jay is amazing. Such a great stories!
Thanks so much!
Met Chris at the Chicago pro this year and went up to say hello and said hello Mr aceto , he looked at me like don’t bother me and walked away 😅😅😅😅😅😅 . I’m blessed as a 51 year old bodybuilding fan to say Chris Aceto disapproved of the way I looked 😅😅😅😅😅

thanks for listening
Jay smiling ear to ear while Chris story tells and reminisces was great to see. Jay is the man and always will be
Fantastic podcast gentlemen. Appreciate your time and quality with Chris. God bless!
Best interview chris has ever done imo 👏 well done guys

This is a surprise. Finally
Great interview, one I’ve been waiting for. It shows your respect, admiration, and appreciation for Chris and his involvement in your journey. Love the stroll down memory lane and going into more detail from my favorite era in BB history
Chris could be on here weekly for years and I bet we'd still be getting new stories. Great podcast, one of the best yet.
One off your best podcast so far thanks guys ❤

1:52:53 funny enough my son has only ever wanted to compete in open, thanks to the greats that really solidified bodybuilding as a whole.
1:55:09 😂 if you were coaching nowadays Matthew (my son) would be beyond thrilled to work with you- old school is not out!
thanks for listening
That’s one of best episodes u guys ever did. So much knowledge.

There's just something different about a guest that Jay has legitimate history with. This was great.

Without a doubt , one of the best episodes so far.
Timestamps and 3/4 predescribed talking points will get you to 100k by EOY.
Not interested in timestamps... Dont have time - Matt
You can visually see the respect jay has for Chris by the way he looks and talks about him
100%. And vice versa I think, Chris obviously really loves Jay like a brother
Chris and Jay. The best one two punch in Bodybuilding. Thanks Guys.
This one never gets old! My favorite episode so far
Aceto is the best. Beyond interesting episode. So much knowledge and history.

Jay looks so genuinely happy to have his boy/mentor on the podcast! You can tell they always had that big bro, little bro relationship!
he is - Matt
