Carolina Panthers fan and I DON’T want Keon Coleman. I’m TIRED of us drafting big body WRs who have no speed and can’t separate NO MORE OF THAT MESS!!!! My preference is Adonai Mitchell but if he doesn’t fall to 33 I wouldn’t mind Ladd McConkey. If both players are not there why can’t we trade pick 33 for a WR like Tee Higgins or Brandon Aiyuk? We’ve seen WRs this offseason get traded for less and pick 33 is essentially a first round pick so why would the Bengals or 49ers say no to that? 🤔
Steelers guy…we cannot skimp at both C and OT. Roger Rosegarten and Hunter Nourzad? Are you kidding me? I would say OT in the first (Mims, Fuaga, Latham) and Frazier in the 2nd or Van Pran Granger in the 3rd. The other Day 1-2 selections are at CB and WR.
Anyone that takes either to start right away is making a massive mistake and I'm a Michigan fan. That said and zero honerism, I'd take JJ over Maye WITH the idea that I don't want either to start for a year or two. JJ does everything Maye does but better outside of his deep ball. His only "knock' is not being asked to throw it 40x a game like Maye was.
Got a thumbs up by this Giants fan. I've been playing with the mock draft simulator (I don't know which one ), And don't think it's terribly realistic but that said trading down gets me a much more satisfying draft than trading up or sticking at 6. You hit all points, QB, CB, S and wr. Rattler's got flags, but if Daboll drafts him, I will trust that he can work with him.
Appreciate all your hard work with the constant content brother. Busy time of the year for you I’m sure. Are you planning to put out any positional rankings videos at all before the draft??
Titans fan here to answer your question. It would be a unique option to go back to back OT but I think the Robinson pick is perfect. OL, DL and S are currently the biggest needs so locking down the OL would be awesome but at the same time getting studs on both sides of the trenches would be the better route.
I think Alt and Darius Robinson is great for the Titans. We obviously badly need a LT and (maybe not so obviously) need a Denico Autry replacement on defense. Suamataia would be intriguing, but I think we'd be better of to let Bill Callahan have a year with NPF and see if he can make a decent starter at RT out of him. Maybe a RT pick later would be better for now.
Braden Fiske for the Houston Texans at #42,,,,an undersized defensive tackle. 🍋 Pass on Fiske! 🤮 The Texans need a defensive tackle, but Fiske is not the guy. If taken, the Texans will have to teach him to play as an edge rusher. Ennis Rakestraw Jr.....an overrated cornerback. If he is ranked by PPF at 36 and he is available at 59, that is because is not that good. 🍋🍋 Dominick Puni. A Kansas offensive guard??? Probably the fifth-best guard in this draft. A project. I have seen no one mock this guy among the top 100 players in the draft. This is a super lemon choice 🍋🍋🍋🍋 at #86. By the way, when do you presume to take a linebacker, a safety, and/or a tight? You could have chosen one here instead of Puni, who at best may be a fourth-round-type pick. These three choices make me 😡😡😡🤬🤮 You zipped past these picks, knowing that they were not too good. Down here in Houston, you as a mock drafter would be described as “all hat and no cattle.” 😂
Teej love the content but AINT no way you gave up Nabers or Odunze for Brian Thomas and rattler 😭😭 definitely would un end myself if that happened in game ofc
I like this draft for the chargers a lot! Just got issues with the Blake Corrum Pick. Chargers need a 3rd Down Back with burst to complement Edwards and Blake is, if fit at all, to similar to that. Would rather have Jaylen Wright (Benson if there but went one pick ahead) or someone like Watson in later rounds
I’m a Giants fan and personally I wouldn’t trade back because I like Rome Odunze over Brian Thomas Jr. Just subbed to your channel. Keep up the good work!
Love the picks for Green Bay. If Newton falls that far I’d love it even though it’s not a huge need. But DEFINITELY want Wilson, I’d be ok if we took him round 1 honestly
One thing I think people don’t do a lot is the Colts trading back. GM Chris Ballard loves to trade back, has traded back/out of the first multiple times in his tenure with the colts and even in day 2 as well. Every year someone is cound to fall further than they should, I think the Colts would love to gain more draft capital in Day 2 along with staying in R1
As a Titans fan I wouldn't be mad at doubling down in the trenches, but I'm probably in the minority. Getting long term starters is more important to me than drafting players everywhere to satisfy a checklist. At 38 we should get a great player whether that's at OL/WR/LB/CB/DL. But yea I don't particularly trust our RT/RG options as it currently stands. Mixed bag right now after Cushenberry, Skoronski and hopefully Alt on the left.
Broncos fan here…. Love Bo Nix to Denver. But my “ideal” scenario would be if we trade back to get a second round pick and somehow still end up w Bo Nix later in the 1st round. but this is not very likely and I understand that.
I know the Seahawks really want to trade down in the first round and possibly even multiple times. However, if Byron Murphy falls to them at 16, they are going to run to the podium to turn in his card.
I like your Buccaneers picks for the most part. Only thing that I question is why would their second third round picks to Buffalo when they need a LB? They need a LB more than a CB.
There's NO chance Chicago takes Latu @ #9. He's a hell of a player, and if it wasn't for his medicals, he probably would be the best edge in this draft! Everyone, including Poles knows this and knows how Latu will fall a little because of it! That's why we would trade back and acquire a 2nd or 3rd rounder with a desperate WR needed team if we weren't planning on staying @ #9 and taking Odunze ourselves....
No chance Poles takes Latu at 9. I saw a mock where the guy said a friend who’s a Dr told him to stay completely away from a guy with the injury Latu had.
Lassiter isn't a upgrade to any of our top 3 CB's we will gladly pass on him in the 2nd round. As you said earlier Latu would be the better choice at 8 but i get you are mixing it up and thats fine. Would much prefer Latu but it's whatever. As for round 2 you really missed out on a massive need for us in NT with the best pure NT in the class in sweat there. Take Sweat in round 2 then take a different CB in round 3 or 4. Hall is a ok player but not the type of NT we need here. As we have swapped to a 3-4 defense and rah and the rams do use big NT like they did with Gaines and Brown in LA. We even brought back Eddie Goldman out of retirement for the 1000th time as a joek for the position. Which shows we desperately need one lol. 1st - Latu - Edge 2nd - Sweat - NT 3a - Bullard - SS - This is a bigger need than CB is anyways. Our SS is bad our top 3 CB's are quite good already. 3b - Corley or Mcmillain - WR - Tez is fine to i guess just prefer these guys. 4th - Best CB available for depth to pair with AJ, Dee Alford, and Clark Phillips.
In almost every mock draft I see receivers and tackles flying off the board. I believe there is a world where teams go heavy at the front of the draft for defensive players and the WRs and Ts fall. This is because there is less defensive talent in this draft so teams may feel like they have to get defense early in order to get top defensive talent. I am basing this off of DJ and Buckys (Move the sticks) podcast where they did a offense only 1 round mock and then a defense only 1 round mock. They really struggled to find 32 defensive players they thought could be worthy being picked in round 1. Sorry this was so long. I just wanted to get your thoughts on this theory.
I wouldn’t be mad at doubling down on tackles in Tennessee. But they’ve stated they’re bringing in a veteran lineman and we have a couple holes 🕳️ to fill on defense. I’m really not sure if Joe alt is the play at 7 honestly. I feel like it’s to obvious. (Ran also stated tackles are deep in this class and that everything is on the board at 7)
Latham great backup swing OT for two years then replace Lane. Cooper great pick to start at OLB. Wilson good pick at WR3. One of the better Eagles drafts
People keep talking about how Minnesota will trade up, but I think that Buffalo and the Broncos, could trade up too. The top five picks this year will be exciting, no doubt about that.
Raiders fan would be pretty happy if things actually worked out this way. If you can figure out a trade up back into the first round to better secure Penix Jr... that would be another reality we have to be aware of. My paranoia is Miami taking him to avoid having to pay Tua unreasonable money. This just feels like a draft full of prospects where most everyone can draft all kinds of upside. I wonder if the next draft or two will be close to this? The farther away that we get from the covid years... the more likely we won't have as many of the older players filling things out so much.
I kind of completely agree with your term terminology with the Cardinals but. If you have a good ride receiver it's going to make him better but what got leaked out he told people give me a solid offensive line I can make mediocre receivers look good. I don't see it as him being arrogant but he can make all the throws so I believe that's possible.
I'd take Bralen Trice "Real Name No Gimmicks" over Gabe Murphy. He's a better fit for the scheme with better production. I'd take Sweat over both of them as the Panthers do not have a true NT on the roster. Tuttle was terrible in the role last year and Sweat is tailor made for the scheme.
i would’ve taken tvondre sweat at 66 before rattler and if we were gonna take rattler in the 3rd i’d have rather taken at 70 so we could still get sweat at 66 but maason smith or kris jenkins would be sweet too
Tampa has just invested 100 mio in Baker and they will draft an edge in the 1st rd? Then a CB in rd 2, Maccormick as IOL in rd 3 and then trade their next pick? No way this will happen!
As a Panthers fan I follow Steve smith sr cut to it comps as to what WR I am hopeful for. So far it's legette, but also I would love ladd mcconkey, ricky persall, keon koelman, AD Mitchell.
Fellow Panthers fan and I DON’T want Xavier Legette. I’m DONE with drafting “big body” WRs. We failed with Kelvin Benjamin, we failed with Dwayne Jarrett and we failed with Johnathan Mingo. NO MORE DRAFTING BIG BODY WRs WITH NO SPEED OR SEPARATION SKILLS I want Adonai Mitchell but if we don’t get him I can settle for Ladd McConkey Also why not trade pick 33 for a WR like Tee Higgins or Brandon Aiyuk? We’ve seen WRs this offseason get traded for less and pick 33 is essentially a 1st round pick so why would the Bengals or 49ers say no to that? On a side note at pick 39 we need a CB BADLY!!!! Cam hart to raiders is a good spot but he'll be picked highers than some of the corners you had above him . Shutting down Marvin harrison Jr like he did will go a long way
@TEEJ I need you to look at this trade. Packers give 25 and 58 to the Broncos for 12. Broncos don’t have a 2nd. Packers have 2 Broncos can probably get Nix at 25. Why do people keep saying the cards reading back then back up? That rarely happens at all let alone in top 10 and you think they'll do it 2 years in a row?
Arizona would not trade back up to get a wide receiver. LMAO. Monty learned his draft philosophy in New England, which means trade back and don’t draft wide receivers in round one. Focus on offensive tackle, defensive, tackle, edge, and cornerbacks in round one.
FYI the eagles have the worst pass defense in the nfl… & you have them ignoring corner. the eagles MUST draft a corner or trade for one & pay him. They need 3 over the next 12 months. Hope this helps
@@kingtcabq Schone has said that if all 4 QB's are gone they will go with best position player available. 🤔 So if we're basing it off that, the next position of need desperately for the Giants is WR. Most likely MHJ will be gone. After MHJ, Nabers is the next best WR.
I was ok with the Arnold pick but you lost me with the Newman pick. The Rams need tackle help our RT is the last remaining St. Louis Ram and our LT is not a long term tackle.
I hate to be that guy, but this was a horrendous draft for the Patriots… I think Maye is miles better than JJ and seeing where both guys have to sit for a year or two, you take the guy with better physical tools, and that’s Maye. But that wasn’t the deal breaker… Worthy in the second round is just awful. He’s quite literally the last type of WR the Patriots need. I get they don’t have “speed” outside of Thornton who doesn’t play, but Worthy is strictly a slot IMO and the Patriots have 6 out of 8 slot WRs on their team, and there’s a very strong argument that all 8 are slots on any other team lol. I like the idea of getting a weapon in the second, because they desperately need it, but they also don’t have a start-able LT. If Morgan is there I just don’t see a world where they pass on him unless AD Mitchell falls or something crazy. The WRs I’d be looking at for the Patriots are Keon Coleman, Xavier Legette, Tez Walker, Brenden Rice. Someone with height and has a different skill set than what they already have. It’s same with Ladd, I think he’s great, but I don’t see him being very successful outside, and they desperately need an outside WR (not that you mocked him there but I’ve seen it a ton by others).
Dude stop with the Bryan Kelly bs. They asked Bryan Kelly about Washington drafting Daniels before he said what he said. That’s why he said Washington at the end.
Love what you did for the Chargers!⚡️
Man if Washington gets Jayden Daniels and Fashanu after day 1 then that would be awesome
I have no idea why the giants would ever do that trade
Throw the dice on a 3rd round player or Malik Nabers?
A third round pick is not close to being the difference between nabers and Thomas jr
Not to mention pick 6 = 1600 pts; 11 + 66 = 1500, duh!
Carolina Panthers fan and I DON’T want Keon Coleman. I’m TIRED of us drafting big body WRs who have no speed and can’t separate NO MORE OF THAT MESS!!!!

Agree. In this mock situation we are definitely taking Olu Fashanu, Mims, or Latham over coop
Solid Lions draft
Dude if we take JJ over Maye at 3, I'm jumping off a cliff. And I don't even hate JJ, Maye is just lightyears better

I liked the last two dolphin picks but hated first round pick. Didn't address top needs WR and Edge.Lastly we have Armstead and Lamm. Don't need a LT.
FYI the eagles have the worst pass defense in the nfl… & you have them ignoring corner. the eagles MUST draft a corner or trade for one & pay him. They need 3 over the next 12 months. Hope this helps
dont see why the rams would pick 2 pieces of secondary knowing tyhat was a majority of players we got this off szn
Titans do really need edge and safety so no to doubling down on tackle
Steelers go slot corner/ Blitzer in Rd. 1? They go O-line instead
Kirby smith is crazy
Gotta say for the Bengals I don’t like it. I’d rather have Rosengarten in rd 2 than Kiran and Sinnot over All and neither are close
Texans fans want T’Vondre Sweat. Not Braden Fiske! 🍋
I love the Eagles but I’d rather have Malachi Corley
Wilson at lb is an accident waiting to him. His injury history dropped him from the packers board
If Malik is there at 6, Giants are not moving down
They told you that?
@@kingtcabq Schone has said that if all 4 QB's are gone they will go with best position player available. 🤔 So if we're basing it off that, the next position of need desperately for the Giants is WR. Most likely MHJ will be gone. After MHJ, Nabers is the next best WR.
Bucs Mccormick my guy great pick
I don’t know about the Lions going past Braswell. There is some talk about Koolaide.
Vikings would be doing back flips if they land Maye
Loved your packers picks
As a Bengals fan no way if jc Latham is available
Love your raiders picks.
Like Haynes pick but I'm still waiting for WR.
The giants trading out of 6 😂😂😂😂
No way blake fisher is a 2nd rd pick over cam hart and audric estime
Jets and Giants need an O Line- NOT a WR in round 1, ZERO chance.
As a Bears fan the Vikings better not get Drake Maye
For a change I didn't hate your picks for the Lions.
I don’t think cardinals would trade away Marvin Harrison…
LA Rams are not going CB and S, one of those guys yes, I think they can go CB then DL or LB
Bangerrrr
Only 1 pick for my bengals im on board with murphy at 18
I think bills will trade up big for some wr
Dude stop with the Bryan Kelly bs. They asked Bryan Kelly about Washington drafting Daniels before he said what he said. That’s why he said Washington at the end.
