i remember one time in L.A after a day at a music festival at Memorial Collisium ended, we waited quite a while for our uber/lyft and were some of the last groups of people to leave the festival that night (2-3am). 2 different cars came up to our group and offered us rides as if they were apart of Uber or Lyft (they had no stickers indicating they were). It's really frightening to know people will just unknowingly get in a strangers car and not actually know if that's the actual Uber or Lyft. be safe out there

Like the other guy said, put in a small amount of money and expired CC's. Empty wallet is too obvious. And keep your real wallet hidden somewhere safe where they wouldn't think to look.
Make it believable with at least some kids play money and old cards, that way they don't get suspicious immediately and you have an actual chance of getting away.

i remember one time in L.A after a day at a music festival at Memorial Collisium ended, we waited quite a while for our uber/lyft and were some of the last groups of people to leave the festival that night (2-3am). 2 different cars came up to our group and offered us rides as if they were apart of Uber or Lyft (they had no stickers indicating they were). It's really frightening to know people will just unknowingly get in a strangers car and not actually know if that's the actual Uber or Lyft. be safe out there

This happened in my town just a few weeks ago. A young girl mistakenly got into the wrong Uber. Story 1 has several similarities,so much so it made the hairs on the back of my neck stand up!!
