Mrs. Bell passes away early in the first book.
yes true. but heather and the other producers at heartland liked and saw the potential of the Mrs. Bell storyline, especially with sugarfoot so they decided to keep her in the story… the books are very different from the show as I was saying Amy never told his past about 20 years old in the book and of course Ty never dies in the book…

The books are good; however, the show is much better. The writers of the show Heartland have done wonders with the show and the growling love story of Amy and Ty. Live the show so much more
Lisa existed in the books! But she was a minor character as just ben's aunt
I managed to get all the books second hand. They are great but the television series have taken all the characters much much further. Amy's character in the book develops much further than her love for Ty. She outgrows him. He is just content to help out at the ranch.

no, they are available on paperback on Amazon. the parody book is in paperback and kindle.
