So many things are great about Klonoa- the adorable art style, the unique platforming ideas, and the super cute characters with surprisingly-dark boss battles, to name a few! My favourite part of the game is its soundtrack, though. Honestly, this game's soundtrack deserves more recognition... expect lots more covers from this game in the future.
For now, though, here's my favourite song from the game. It's a heart-wrending piece that comes during a surprisingly emotional moment at the end of a fun little game... and in my opinion, this is the best performance I've uploaded so far to this channel. I hope you like it :)
For anyone who's curious, this was made using a Zoom Q2HD. Recorded at Christ the King United Church, Kitchener, Ontario, on April 8th, 2016.

Goodbye, Klonoa. Goodbye. We don't need to be conclusive to dream of each other. If anything, that's why we do so! Oh, Klonoa. I love you Klonoa. I don't want you to return, just stay the way you are. Because, as it is, you've remained untainted. Untouchable in the stratosphere of the medium that has defined me for oh so long. Simplicity so raw and unfiltered, yet so polished and elegant. Like a dream floating in the wind, he comes by, whisks us to his world, and then violently drops us back in our's, seemingly completely unbenounced to what he is causing. Something that should evoke anger and regret instead fills us with this child-like innocence, innocence so strong that is prevails through the incredible emotion. So Klonoa, I am OK without you. You've taught me that conclusive refusal isn't the way. We should instead hang on to the memories of each other, the memories of the time we spent together. After all, we can revisit it any time. God knows I have (chuckle). Just, if you do decide to come back, I ask that you pretend the time we spent apart was non-existent. I think you captured the feeling we all probably felt when we listened to the final version of this track at the end of the game, and I'd say that's a very hard thing to do - but you did it!!
