The beginning of this video made me feel oooollllddd....Been watching for a long time. Doesn't help that I have a 19yo daughter and a 3yo son. I'm only 41yo I thought this was the new 30's!? Great content as always!
hey, you are not along bro! I felt the same the other day, for some I reason I was thinking of the time Joey had Buddy and the Gold fish on his basement, Long before the aquarium galery.
Team king and queen of diy Joey awesome video love the new corner set up Tyrese tank looks awesome. The gallery is coming together once again keep up the great work. See you in the next one.
Joey, since Tyrese is a Fahaka that originates from Africa. Get some Congo tetras and put in there with him. They are big tetras and they have this beautiful iridescent shine to them. 👍🏼
I think Congo tetras would look amazing in here to accompany tyrese... Or maybe a shoal of red eye tetras too... They will help keep the tank clean by eating all the uneaten food too
Joey, a large school of Congo Tetras and Diamond Tetras would look great and they will have good cover with the scape that you have designed. Keep up the good work and inspiring everyone who watches your channel!!👍🏻
I think you should try and keep it as natural as possible. This tank looks amazing. I also like the doing what Joey likes phase of the channel so whatever gets your heart pumping please follow that!
Hmmm I think Sunset Flame guppies would compliment his yellow tones, and really work well against the darker more desaturated earthy tones of the tank, it would also bring out the orangey tint of the substrate, really tie it all together
Joey, I freaking love it. Would Tyrese get along with a huge school of congo tetras? They are so beautiful and they would compliment each other greatly. Peace.
I have a fahaka growing out right now at about 3 in and he's cool with the couple mollies I cycle the tank with but anything I add he kills I've seen multiple fahakha get along with many fish just have to be raised together from about 2 inches before puberty hits lol
It turned out beautiful Joey! Great job! I’d request adding a large group of Rummynose tetras, they’re my favorite tetra! What else.. hmm.. do you think German Blue Ram Cichlids would become too large, where they’d become targets for a snack..? Well, you did suggest swordtails, Ram Cichlids don’t get bigger than Swordtails. I think a group of the common German Blue, throw in a few Gold Ram Cichlids, maybe try and find some of the Electric Blue versions as well! If you think it would be possible.. tossing in a few of all three would look AMAZING in that tank!
Looks great! Question: Hypothetically, in an off grid scenario, would some solar panels supply enough to keep what you have going? Or is your electrical bill astronomical?
You should put a big school of longfin zebra Danio in with Tyrese. They're fast and quite active he will never catch them and they are fun to watch because they are always moving
I like the idea of looking at species from the same or surrounding waterways when stocking different types of fish in one tank. How do you feel about a hippo and a couple Nile crocodiles? 🤣
That tank isn't perfect you can't say that bc you will change it again and again and again multiple times. You will never be happy. Lmao. Always changing it up. Just bring new content.
How long to reach a ft??? also I've been building my own tanks by buying the half off tanks from Petco and breaking them down n rebuilding have some 55s put together like a half. Hexagon shape any advice on silicone removal looks much easier on RUclips 😅😅😅❤#fishsavedmylife!!!!
Nice aquarium he got! Also can you do something about the microphone. The video's lately are uncomfortable to listen to as a headphone user. It is not constant so I think it has to do with the position of it.
Love your videos, but the last few the audio has been coming through overpowered or something because even at the lowest volume it buzzes my speakers and sounds bad.
From an artistic point of view, add an odd number of plants, sticks, etc. it is visually more appealing than an even number. Try it, see if you agree, it’s how designers work
Why don't you order a bunch of Siamese Flying Foxes to move around your tanks to eat hair algae when they need it? It would be great education for your viewers. Especially if you teach them how to tell them apart from common Flying Foxes, which don't eat hair algae.
Joey my dragon(humpback) puffer would destroy anything that looked like a platy. But dragon puffers are piscivor/ambush hunters not shellfish predominant eaters. Plus platy’s are one of the derpiest of fish
I dunno... I think that Piranha tank needs 2-300 neon tetras..... or some kind of large color school... So Joey, I know nothing of puffers.. Are those two things in his mouth teeth like a cow or just mouth parts?
Yaaay puffers have such huge personalities, they deserve a larger tank and good enrichment, nice job!
Love your vision. The tank looks phenomenal.
Hello Reggie, how are you doing today, hope you’re fine and safe from the COVID-19 virus??

Maybe try some Goodeids with Tyreese, more natural looking livebearers.
Joey, since Tyrese is a Fahaka that originates from Africa. Get some Congo tetras and put in there with him. They are big tetras and they have this beautiful iridescent shine to them. 👍🏼
I agree
❤
Swordtails 😊
Hello Jody, how are you doing today, hope you’re fine and safe from the COVID-19 virus??

Can’t wait to see the 21 footer …👍
Joey, a large school of Congo Tetras and Diamond Tetras would look great and they will have good cover with the scape that you have designed. Keep up the good work and inspiring everyone who watches your channel!!👍🏻
Just ordered your book man, can't wait to get it!
Swordtails would be nice. A huge school of Columbian tetras of Congo tetras would be amazing too.
love you content, watching all the way from South Africa Johannesburg.
I think you should try and keep it as natural as possible. This tank looks amazing. I also like the doing what Joey likes phase of the channel so whatever gets your heart pumping please follow that!
The tank looks great tyreese is going to look great in his new tank
How about adding something you HAVEN'T had before? Bonus points if its something from his natural environment.
Platties or sword tails and Mollies for sure!!! They will even help keep the algae in check.
You should do a school of Congo tetras
Montezuma swordtails! The 6’ tank does them wonders
Omg I’ve been looking forever for a background like that and never came across anything even similar to this smh.?Thx! 💪
A huge group of runny nose tetras would be cool
Joey mate, I love this new tank so far’ YOU SHOULD ADD SOME “five bar lamprologus
Hmmm I think Sunset Flame guppies would compliment his yellow tones, and really work well against the darker more desaturated earthy tones of the tank, it would also bring out the orangey tint of the substrate, really tie it all together
hes going to love it
I love puffer fish I have a lot of character
I love it!!!!!❤❤❤
Joey, I freaking love it. Would Tyrese get along with a huge school of congo tetras? They are so beautiful and they would compliment each other greatly. Peace.
Yes, tetras or other schooling nano fish from Africa
no you cant really put other fish with pufferfish.
schooling fish will do great
I love Fahakas . I have one as well and is so personable 😁👍
Hello Patty, how are you doing today, hope you’re fine and safe from the COVID-19 virus??
Amazing video dude! Tanks looking dope! Do cardinal tetras. 100 of them lol. I’m curious to see how Tyrese will do with them vs Mitch.
I’m living the puffer tank and I like the idea of putting Dalmatian mollies and Dalmatian swordtails in there with Tyrese!
Cardinal tetras would look amazing.
Love it!
Some plattys would be cool the tank looks amazing
I have a fahaka growing out right now at about 3 in and he's cool with the couple mollies I cycle the tank with but anything I add he kills I've seen multiple fahakha get along with many fish just have to be raised together from about 2 inches before puberty hits lol
A big school of rummy nose would be cool!

Buzzing new video
Very nice 😊
Looks really nice, how about giving him some rummy nose tetras
Tank looks awesome! But you should add a spot with smaller substrate, they like to burrow them self in the sand..
“Damn that sucked” no pun intended 😂😂😂
Some wild type sword tails would be cool
a BIG school of Cherry Barbs would look rad
@thekingofdiy have you done any stands out of acrylic and put a full tank on it?
What kind of electrical boxes are you using for that plug? Gang or non gang able box's?
I think you do Congo tetras and some smaller exotic plecos
Looks great! Question: Hypothetically, in an off grid scenario, would some solar panels supply enough to keep what you have going? Or is your electrical bill astronomical?
I have to say this lovely tank with lovely ideas of fish you will not be happy with it's placement!
Hello Linda, how are you doing today, hope you’re fine and safe from the COVID-19 virus??
You should put a big school of longfin zebra Danio in with Tyrese. They're fast and quite active he will never catch them and they are fun to watch because they are always moving
Mickey Mouse Platies, swordtails and black mollies! Beginner fish with Tyrese would be cool!
Hey Joey what are your thoughts on uv canister filters?I've only just found out about them
Some orange plattys I don’t think will kill the look of the tank. Think they may compliment it actually
You should recreate the video of you and your son introducing Tyrese to his new tank… don’t forget to kick him out! 😅
Orange swordtails!!!!
Maybe some Poecilia velifera they get bigger. Cant you put the puffer in with the piranha?
My best bet will be Congo Tetra
you could throw in a few siamese algae eaters... maby some odessa barbs? or rainbow shiners
The swordtails will look good with tyrese. 👍👍
Swordtails would look great
GET A BUNCH OF TETRAS!!!!! Mix it up. Get some Neon Tetras and those clear/red tretras.
Kribensis cichlids and Congo tetras.
It’s been a while since ive seen him what happen to the gallery that was gana be open to the publc?
Could you add bristle nose plecos to a tank
Rainbow fish! You should add some Rainbows. Would give lots of color.
Hello Carl, how are you doing today, hope you’re fine and safe from the COVID-19 virus??
@trevorjennings72, doing good man! Thanks for checking on me!? No covid here and doing well. Thank you Trevor.
@@carlwagers9829 You’re welcome Carl😊. Hope you’re having a nice and a wonderful day today??
L how are you doing today, hope you’re fine and safe from the COVID-19 virus
Try some cherry barb
What type of top is that on top of the 180?
I like the idea of looking at species from the same or surrounding waterways when stocking different types of fish in one tank.
How do you feel about a hippo and a couple Nile crocodiles? 🤣
16:44 I would go with guppies.
👍👍 2 thumbs up
Some African tetra's would go well, with the anubius it will almost be a biotype.
Can the puffer go with the piranhas? I think that would be sick, idk if they would get along though, he would look good in that tank
Some Emperor Tetras (Nematobrycon palmeri) or serpae tatras would suit the tank
What about 20ish tiger barbs the coulers would match perfectly and fast swimming school
Tiger barbs can be aggressive fin nippers
That tank isn't perfect you can't say that bc you will change it again and again and again multiple times. You will never be happy. Lmao. Always changing it up. Just bring new content.
ADHD does that to you mate. I'm autistic, I also have ADHD and I'm the same.

Flow freeing 🤔😂
Add Tetras and Swordtails, BTW you need to clean up...
multiple different types of neon tetras
Bro looks gorgeous I love to see some goodeids
How about Congo tetras
Love your videos, but the last few the audio has been coming through overpowered or something because even at the lowest volume it buzzes my speakers and sounds bad.
Tiger barbs?
You need to fix your mic...
There's buzzing and the audio isn't balanced as well, there's more sound comming from the left...
From an artistic point of view, add an odd number of plants, sticks, etc. it is visually more appealing than an even number. Try it, see if you agree, it’s how designers work
Swordtail please
Please some Cherry barbs
Joey you need to fix that mic
A school of either Harlequin rasbora or cardinal tetra not neon cause cardinal has red and blue line length of body
Why don't you order a bunch of Siamese Flying Foxes to move around your tanks to eat hair algae when they need it? It would be great education for your viewers. Especially if you teach them how to tell them apart from common Flying Foxes, which don't eat hair algae.
My torpedo barbs did a fantastic job of eating the hair algae in my tanks.
@@fancymanchucky oh, I didn't know they did that. Cool!
I would add platys in every color I could find males and females
Sailfin molly
Tiger barbs
Congo tetras or moon tetras will look natural
Joey my dragon(humpback) puffer would destroy anything that looked like a platy. But dragon puffers are piscivor/ambush hunters not shellfish predominant eaters. Plus platy’s are one of the derpiest of fish
Man, with a tank that big you should get some more fahakas and try breeding them. It can be done.
We all know who has the nicest Fahaka puffer tank, and it’s me.
Mollies
I dunno... I think that Piranha tank needs 2-300 neon tetras..... or some kind of large color school... So Joey, I know nothing of puffers.. Are those two things in his mouth teeth like a cow or just mouth parts?
