Id like to see you go back, see if theres any water. I remember before that dam was built how the water gushed down the riverbed in the spring. It was really something to see.
Huck, great video! Really impressed, I've never seen the inside or from the top, and this was a very eye-opening video. That water back there looks very tempting!
Good morning Huck Kenny Sr and I went Sunday for a drive to Jenks Lake and it was a beautiful drive and we loved being back at the lake. Although there were no fish in the lake because of the pandemic they stop stocking the lake we were disappointed. We went to several camp grounds 1 we particularly liked was Barton Flats. We didn't find one with electrical. Do you know of any electrical camp grounds out in that area before Big Bear?
Hi huck I decided to look at Seven Oaks on you tube because my husband Kenny Sr and I would go fishing there and what video do I see first? Yours it was very informative and interesting thank you. Delfina and Kenny Sr.
Looked like a good Dam tour. Crazy they made the dam pipes plastic. That's a lot of dam water. You know who had a great beard? The dam tour guide. Damn. Damnit.
this is Really Cool wow. that dam is Huge! audio sounds fine here just your voice is only coming out of the right side is all... interesting that they build a dam that big just for flood control i was expecting a big reseroir
We did fish it from the other side. I have now found out that the water behind the dam is actually quite warm and stagnant, so that may be why we didn't see many fish in there.
It's only used for flood control. Its been high up a few times, but never to full pool. If it ever gets to full pool, we may need to find an ark to ride out the storm in!
Something I have never done. See the internal workings of a dam. Very interesting. Cool video, thanks for sharing.
Cool video Huck!!! tunnel made me a bit claustrophobic ..lol Thanks for the upload.....
Thanks for watching Joe! It was a blast!
wow!! that was cool thanks for sharing
It was a unique opportunity for sure!

I missed out on the tour this year as I already had plans for that day. I too miss seeing that water in the spring under the old bridge.
Huck, great video! Really impressed, I've never seen the inside or from the top, and this was a very eye-opening video. That water back there looks very tempting!
Glad you enjoyed it. From what I was told that water behind the dam is somewhat shallow and very warm.
Very interesting! Sweet video, thanks for sharing. Very cool!
Glad you enjoyed it.
Can i ride my bike to the top of the dam coming from greenspot Bridge? Looks amazing i gotta see what you saw, nice video
Not that I know of.
Thank you for sharing. Do one have to make a reservation to tour this facility? Wonder how much water is behind this dam now?
This tour was put on through an organization I volunteer at.
@@HuckOutdoors Okay. It's a different arrangement to check out the dam..I got it! That works!

I'm not sure of ones that have electrical. Maybe one of the private ones in big bear on the north shore might.
OK 👌 thanks

Hey! Hope you two are doing well! If you get a chance fish the Santa Ana river near the 7 oaks resort, then stop in the resort for a great burger!
@@HuckOutdoors okay we would love to. Hopefully soon. Were all fine and safe thank God. What video do you suggest for the fishing spot you mentioned?
Great vid I've been wanting to go up there for a while any fish you think
Not behind the dam, but there is some in the river.

He did have a very nice beard!
Huck Outdoors dam right
Hahahaha!!!!
And the mystery is over. You took the dam tour, he was your dam tour guide. Should've asked where you could get some dam bait
LOL!!!
Didn't know it was there. Something to add to my list.
They do tours on the last thursday of every month!

Yeah for some reason that mic only displays audio out of the right side.
Yep that will withstand a huge 500 year flood.
Very interesting what was the weather like out there and did you guys camp out?
We camped later on that day up in Big Bear at Hanna Flats campground.
Wonder how much that thing is releasing right now?
A ton I bet!
haven't you fished that in a previous video?
We did fish it from the other side. I have now found out that the water behind the dam is actually quite warm and stagnant, so that may be why we didn't see many fish in there.
Cool trip, is the dam online yet? Or still in preparation?

Is this by devils canyon
This is in Mentone/Highland
I was always under the impression that this is private, is this public access or is there some sort of fee you need to pay to drive up there?
This was part of a private tour for fire Lookout volunteers. Contact the yucaipa historical society, as they also do tours from time to time.
Great video! My dad and his team designed this dam. ;)
Sharon Allen hi
Awesome!
