Congratulations!! I haven’t seen anyone open one of these collector dolls. I think it would have been cool if they included the tray with the doll, just to complete the look (but I have no idea how they’d display it in the box).
@ I was thinking about this further, they should have had a little drawer built into the bottom of the box (kinda like the CYO dolls get, but a real drawer). They should have put the accessories into this drawer.
the box is a piece of art. the lined window, the beige inside & the trees. they did a amazing job on the design i watched another creator show the box & it sold me on it thanks for sharing!!
How wonderful to have the holiday Kirsten. I find it very annoying, though, when the new dolls arrive with the braid already out of the hairstyle. My 2nd Kirsten arrived that way. The first Kirsten had a damaged eye. American Girl needs to improve the quality for sure.
Yes that annoyed me too, and the eyes not being perfect. It’s so subtle I go back and forth on if I see it or not, but still! Same with my Barbie’s eye makeup. If I’m spending $300 on a doll it should be perfect!!

Yes the box is gorgeous! I never keep these dolls in boxes but so far I’m keeping Kirsten in hers.
