As you and product description mentions the cussion has pocket springs in it (that's why it also has a bouncing effect). Which is a very good thing. Also as far as I could see in the manual it also has zig zag springs / wave spring as suspension. Which a lot of other IKEA sofas do not (resulting in low ratings/reviews regarding the durability and wear out of the cussions).

@@chronicfish actually yes, have a look at Google. But after 1,5 years of owning this couch I'd actually criticize the foam material as it shows medium signs of getting softer / weaker / saggier. Should be covered by Ikea's 10 year warranty, but still... I'd also have taken more / different brands / manufacturers into account if I'd have been faced with the same decision of finding a couch
Hi, hmm it depends on what you are looking for ? If you after seat cushion that is not too hard, soft, comfortable & durable, then pick Vimle. If you after something new, aesthetic, big size, firm and bouncy sofa, then pick Applaryd. In my opinion both are robust. However Vimle durability has been proven. While Applaryd is fairly new, we don't know how it's gonna last in 2-3 years.
This review was either paid for by Ikea or done without actually ever having sat on it. I just bought it online and got it delivered yesterday and it goes back tomorrow! Here is the real review of an actual customer. The Good: The sofa is very very good looking! The bad: the seat depth is too shallow for anyone over 5'8". There is no way to lounge on it or even get your feet/legs up on the sofa. Its like sitting on a wooden chair. The Ugly: The back cushions are completely stiff with zero give. They are also straight up on a 90 degree angle giving you no lower back support. Sitting on the sofa for more than 10 minutes actually produces discomfort and pain. The sofa is uncomfortable to the point of being unusable. I tried a fix by removing the back cushion inserts and fill the cover with soft down/foam material. It definately added comfort and lower back support but not to the point that it's worth keeping. It's a shame - it would have taken minor design adjustments to make this a killer sofa. Also - if you get the velvet version you better have lint rolls near by - it will be covered in it within hours.

Hmm lebih enak yang mana ? Pilihan sulit, harus coba langsung di toko IKEA. Kalau suka yang solid tapi empuk boleh coba Landskrona. Kalau suka yang padat, mantul dan empuk, boleh ambil Applaryd. *Entah kenapa klo duduk di applaryd terasa lebih tinggi. (Tinggi dudukan diukur dari lantai 47 cm)

For me this sofa feels medium, i gave it 5.
Not too soft, but also not too hard.
If you like soft sofa, please try IKEA Kivik.
