Fantastic idea for sharpening saw blades, a lot better then most methods i have seen on youtube. I think i am going to give this one a try.
You can not see well in the video, but I can tell you that the disc was very well sharpened. Better than I expected.
The disc sharpening was bought on ebay very cheap.

Get a belt dresser for that edge sander. It would save you a fortune. Never go uphill with an edge sander, but I think you learned that lesson in the out take bit.
Great video and a lot better than using an angle grinder which is far too fast.

Are you holding the ground tests parallel first? Then, when you turn it over, you keep it angled. Apartment tests, right?

Forgive me if I'm wrong, but aren't circular blades angled along the front of the tooth too? Wouldn't grinding this surface flat impede the performance of the blade?
Yes, but the jig lets you do that
J. B.J. You dont grind the top just the face unless you have a chip on the carbide
Not many blades have teeth where the face of the carbide isn't 90 degrees to the plate. Only the Freud Premier Fusion 40T comes to mind; very complex tooth grind on that blade and probably one you'd want to have sharpened professionally by someone familiar with it.

My blades have face angle of 5 deg which means you need to grind alternate teeth then turn over change diamond wheel angle to -5 deg and cut the others. No problem with that except I havnt found a way to index 2 teeth. The blade is 255 and has 24 teeth so adjacent tips are 32mm and alternate teeth are about 64mm round the circumference. Ideas?

Приспособа хорошая, но в ней нет упора для зуба чтобы четко выдерживать шаг заточки, а по сему один зуб как правило получается выше и гребет пила только им, потом этот зуб быстро садится и имеем острую не пиляющую пилу.

Идеально заточить на таком устройстве не получится. Нужен станок из чугуна, без вибрации.
