Actualy its possible to get 5 osmium in 10 min from start of the game with only first upgrades and crafting deconstruction chips but its kind of round way to get to it
I run it on a linux box with a lot less oomph than the steam deck. The game works great, but I use mouse and keyboard, so controller support may be a blocker.

A vehicle would be very useful in later parts of this game. A little moon rover sort of thing to get places faster.
there is a Jet Pack tier 1 atm , it's pretty fun to cruise above the lakes, and it's still a wip, EA is still on track for late March (5 weeks away)

You can get the Osmium without the ice melting. You just have to approach it from the east, where the large wreck in the desert is.

Yay Z is back on planet crafter. Explore the osmium cave in the sand falls. Also you can make super alloy in the advanced crafter.
And the ore extractor gives you everything to make that super alloy , and helps with your demands for iron
I have been looking forward to another episode of this.
My favorite part is talking about iridium and then all of a sudden there is a meterorite in your face lol

U should get the Mail Screen and the communication dish for enjoying the lore , great job tho
