After watching the last two episodes live stream (literally that Sunday morning at 5am 😂), I was left utterly speechless and empty. I was crying my eyes out because of the ending. This drama has left such a huge impact on me. Yes, there were alot of political scenes, but it was needed to help the story. Some might say there weren’t enough romantic scenes in this drama, but I feel that it was a good combination enough where the love story between Sooho and Yeongro had left a memorable impression (at least for me it did). The chemistry and acting between the actors were great.
It was hard for me to make all three videos for this drama, especially the death scene. I still feel the pain when I think about that tragic ending for Sooho. Since their love story was so beautiful, I’ve decided to make this video using parallels with the theme song from Romeo & Juliet (which was also a beautiful tragic love story).

The saddest part about life is when the person who gave you the best memories becomes a memory himself. I will always remember how it feels to fall in love at first sight and the desperation of their love thanks to Soo-ho & Yeong-ro. I’ve watched different kinds of Cdramas and Kdramas before, but this drama is the hardest to forget and the hardest to move on. This drama reminded me of Romeo & Juliet…so I decided to make this video of this drama using its theme song. Wish they had a better ending. 😭

Thanks for your masterpiece video. I almost have the same emotional impact from Snowdrop. I am trying to guess your age. Your video editing skills are so good so you must be quite young. But then are refering to Romeo and Juliet which was in 1968 and the song A time for us released then....so I guessed you could have studied English literature. I really enjoyed your video even though it shows all the sad scenes on Soo Ho and Yeong Ro. Sometimes there is also beauty in sadness because it involves sacrificial love.
@@wahlokng Thank you for your compliment on my editing skills. Surprisingly, I’ve just started doing this maybe 6 months ago, so I still have a lot to learn. It’s more of a side hobby during my free time, after a long day’s work. The idea of using Romeo and Juliet’s theme song came to mind after it was mentioned at the beginning of the show. There were many different versions/composers of this song, but I found that JoslinMusic’s version (in my opinion) was the most emotional when one listens to the music. The piano and violin were a great combination. I thought there were more sad moments between Soo-ho and Yeong-ro, coming to a conclusion that this song was most fitted for this video.
same feelings, it is really hard to forget and move on.. 😭 it is almost month but everytime I see a clip of snowdrop , I can't help myself and click although I know it will just bring back all the feelings of pain I felt before..

I've watched many Kdramas and 'SNOWDROP' was the most drama I can't let go. Though it was very very sad and tragic, and made me cry, I still want to watch it again and again.

I have watched alot of kdramas but SNOWDROP was an emotion, the last 2 episode was so emotional as i was crying by seeing all of those moments and my one of the fav moment was when yongroo hide in that mic room and sohoo find out that she was in there and he knocked like yongroo told him, that was so much emotional scene, this drama gets more success, this is one of the bestest drama ever with lots of emotion, thrill, crime, romance ❤ all in one

I would think she’ll be so traumatized. After all her brother died, her father went to jail, and of course her love died in front of her. I’m not sure how she can deal with it. 😢

Wow...you have made an amazing video that captures so much depth on Snowdrop. When the Romeo and Juliet book was mentioned early in the show, I knew it was heading towards a sad ending with either both SuHo and Yeong Ro dying (like In Romeo and Juliet) or SooHo dying saving Yeong Ro. Finally it was just SooHo dying saving Yeong Ro. When this song A time for us was released in 1969, I was just 9 and it became one of my favourite songs because of the depth of the meaning. There is something about sad dramas because it makes a deep impact on us. I must agree with you that this drama makes a deep impact because of its sadness. There was no way out of this love story. There are 2 very sad Korean dramas I like the most ie Autumn in my heart and Stairway to heaven. Both have very sad endings. These days, they rarely make endings so sad because everyone likes a happy ending. One thing for sure, the director and scriptwriter with his team of actors esp. Jisoo and Hae In have created a master piece for us to remember. We will definitely remember this drama many years from now just like we remember Romeo and Juliet.
I grew up watching alot of Asian dramas (thanks to my parents). 😂 I remember watching “Autumn in My Heart” and “Stairway to Heaven” in my teens. Even today, I can still remember the sad emotions STH left me. There is something about sad ending dramas that leaves a memorial impression on most viewers. Similar to this drama is the C-drama “One and Only”. The ending of that drama left a similar feeling as I have with Snowdrop: a big empty hole in my heart. The concept of sacrificial love has been used in MANY dramas. As a viewer, we know the end result would not be a happy ending, yet we still hope for a better ending. A wonderful drama is one where it leaves a lasting impression, Haein and Jisoo most certainly achieve that (at least for me).
@@MK916Editz No doubt it leaves a lasting impact for us to remember. Your video really captures the sadness of the entire show. Actually episode after episode, the lead actress Jisoo was sad and crying. I think her fans never expected it. And of course when SooHo died, most could not believe the director allowed this sad ending. But now that they are showing the "behind the scene" clips, it shows how much fun they had filming this drama. It is amazing how Jisoo can be so sad when filming and then switch to become the live wire in the set. So much joy with the entire cast. I think Snowdrop will be in the list of my top 5 Korean dramas that I have watched. Thanks again for your video.

I saw a lot of people hate this drama because of the ending. Honestly, I didn't expect it to have a good ending from the 3 or 2 last epiodes because both countries in the drama schemes one on the other: South Korea's parties promising that the spies would return safely after releasing the hostage but are actually planning to eliminate them. Honestly, I think not every good story has to end happily. And this story is one the most beautiful stories I've ever seen. Also, you did a great job on the editing! ^^

First hearing the title and main poster i thought it would be a very cute drama. With a happy ending. Now we know, expectations isnt reality. I cried when suho died. These two deserved a happy ending. They were both great actors❤😭😭😭😭😭💜💜💙💙
