Black X-Mas (also known and pronounced as Black Christmas) is a 2006 Christmas horror film written and directed by Glen Morgan and starring Katie Cassidy, Michelle Trachtenberg, Mary Elizabeth Winstead, Oliver Hudson, Lacey Chabert, Kristen Cloke, and Andrea Martin. The film takes place several days before Christmas and tells the story of a group of sorority sisters who are stalked and murdered in their house during a winter storm. It is a loose remake and reimagining of the 1974 film of the same name. A co-production of Canada and the United States, the film was produced by Morgan and James Wong through their production company Hard Eight Pictures, along with 2929 Productions, Adelstein-Parouse Productions and Hoban Segal Productions. It is the second film in the Black Christmas series.

This is such a holiday classic. When i think of Christmas I think of Elf, The Grinch and Black Christmas.
The casting director did exactly what needed to be done with this movie. It's so iconic.

FUN FACT; Gretchen from Mean Girls was meant to have a longer death scene. It was meant to involve a chase scene, then just more drawn out material of that makes sense, but they had to change it due to her injuring her leg on her first on set. It was at some point while filming a scene with the killer ON HER VERY FIRST DAY (I'd be so pissed)

yeah this one may not be as scary as the original but i still think it fairs well as a dark movie that does enough different to distinguish itself from its predecessor.
i loved this movie but all i’m saying is if it’s one of these situations and i go to the hospital and the killer is in the morgue, transfer me to a different hospital. i’m too traumatized to be in the same building as them mfs

I prefer this one over the original. I found the original boring, and hard to follow the story because to me it seemed... I don't know, disjointed. Or maybe it was because I was so bored my attention kept drifting. Also, I like backstory. I like knowing something about my movie killer. And flashbacks, they're a plus. The only thing I didn't like was removing the abortion storyline. Hey, it's 21st century. And NOW... we know how precious a woman's right is because women are losing them.

Oh yes. This movie. We **so** needed a remake to a movie about giving a voice to women who were fighting against male oppression for their bodily autonomy. You know: an _IMPORTANT_ movie, socially forward, showing a struggle not everyone has to deal with.
We seriously needed a sleazy College Sorority Students Roll Their Eyes and Yell At Each Other for 90 Minutes Like a Thinking-Impaired Version of _Mean Girls_ While: Incest Flashbacks = The Movie.
2006 was a trash time to be alive. Let's celebrate it! Makes perfect sense.
Movies like this are LITERALLY the reason politicians are winning the war on women's lives. In case you were wondering how that's going? Bad. Real bad. They want to force women to stay in abusive marriages, take away alimony, ban contraception, ban all sorts of pain relief for women's medical conditions, and much more... But? You know = YAY, sexist movie from 2006! Stan slay yass queen!

I agree with you about the original and the cop scenes and police department scenes. It was just way too much unnecessary dialogue and scenes. It didn’t seem to fit and that stuff was kind of boring. I like the rest of it but I have the same exact critique. Love your videos! ❤
