I still can't believe Absolute Radio let Skinner go... He was the only presenter on that channel who didn't come across as a star-struck fan boy when interviewing the big names; he had such a lovely natural way of coaxing information out of his guests reminiscent of the late John Peel - his genuine natural curiosity would always translate into an interesting listen. By the looks of it they might have let him stay if he laughed like a mindless sycophant at anything and everything his guests said.
