Comparing this to the album version the use of autotune is on the record so striking...
+Igor Czechowski Is obvious that he can't sing the same as they do in the album due to he must play the guitar too, but he sounds almost 100% like the album version. Trivium could be critiziced for too many reasons, but the Matt's voice isn't one of them.

+yamir rashid Matt has used autotune in the past and has actually admitted to it in interviews, so I wouldn't say he would "never" use it. That being said, in his defense, it's not easy to sing perfectly live, especially after quite a few songs. Naturally, you start to lose your breath during live performances.

its probably just that they're in a small stage and atmosphere. its not like they can get all crazy in such a small space, could cause the crowd to hurt themselves and what not.
They are but like ned said, small stage, plus this is a pretty relaxed song, not really one to get crazy with
