Your first year is foundation year, same for all bdes students. You'll later get Divide in your departments in 3rd semester. So for this year this is all common for each department

That will vary for each subject and the professor's choice
For how many days we have Diwali break?
Usually it's 7 days but first years get longer breaks about 10 to 12 days I think
