Okay maybe it's just me, but it seemed like they were letting Iggy hold, and foul LeBron nearly every time he had the ball. Don't get me started on that play that should have been called a travel, and then Iggy slapped tf out of LeBron's arm right in front of the ref with no call
if you think all those times the refs were being nice, you don't know basketball. they would never call those fouls unless the person is preventing him from moving at all.
+RondoStyle9 you didn't. but you're saying they're letting Iggy foul LeBron. which entails they're not calling it because, and the saying is, the refs were being nice.
Darius Chief Ok, so you are saying that Iggy was not fouling LeBron on many of those plays. I disagree with you, and I think that there is no way on earth that a referee would hesitate to call many of these plays against a defender who was checking Curry because he can't handle that much contact.
RondoStyle9 you simply aren't understanding me as you didn't know basketball. I said those may be "fouls" but Kenny Smith said it the best. If refs called every single foul there epukd easily be 100 fouls a game and games would be 4 hours long. And you're saying this like its only Iggy doing this. Its called playing physical. If you watch any great defender they're aren't hesitant with contact and they know what they can and can't get away with. I'm sure if you rewatch the Finals you can clearly see Delevadova is holding and pushing and grabbing on Curry but no fouls are called because that's basketball. And you're mistaken to think that if it was on Curry the ref would call a foul because he couldn't handle contact. That's just absurd and hilarious. Curry attacks the rim more than people give him credit for and you don't see him getting 20 free throws a game like Westbrook or Harden. He's always looking to score not flop and flail his arms and head to draw fouls like the "stronger" Westbrook or Harden. You probably don't even watch him play if you think he's too weak that refs would give him fouls because he doesn't get the calls other super stars get. And that's a fact.
he didn't score 40 on him. Iggy didn't guard him the whole time. and scoring points has nothing to do with being locked down. you gotta consider free throws and fg%. cuz LeBron shot 38% when Iggy guarded him
