We Had A Report Of Someone From Greenpeace Walking Up And Down 😲✌🎥🛸❌

  • Today we take a look at What More UK, Altham Business Park, Shorten Brook Way, Altham, Accrington BB5 5YJ.
This is another site which is located at the end of a road so they tend to have less members of the public walking around but this does not mean that standards can slip.
We find, plastic pellets left discarded in many places, trip hazards, forklift use without proper registration and staff who do not take the issues seriously.
They even call the Police with a false report that I am an Activist from Greenpeace.
    Enjoy!

This video is the perfect example of why people need to audit these places on industrial estates because allowing plastic pellets to fall onto the floor for wildlife to confuse as food and to fall into the water drainage system can cost these companies fines of over £100,000+ for pollution and endangering wildlife. I also think you should re-visit some of the worst offenders to see if they take note or don't give a shit. And wonder whats goes into the river at the back ??

The pipe at the side of a public path is a trip hazard for anyone stepping off that path - the company need to either remove the hazard or mark it up / barrier it, as they are liable for any issues arising from it. I could not believe what I saw with all them pellets scattered all over the place, definitely a high danger to wildlife "absolutely dreadful" and they did not seem a bit bothered about it, when you spoke with them, no care in the world "SHAME ON THEM" To be honest that area along the section of the pavement was totally disgusting. Lose cable, unattended pipes, etc. I hope they get their act together, as I see a hefty fine coming there way..... Great audit DJ.

But like usual they just find DJ Audits as a massive problem to their business. Send them a copy of the Davidsons Development ltd so they can see how DJ can promote a brilliant product from a brilliant organisation 👏👏

Action needs to be taken against them and reported to the Environmental Agency (EA) and also the Health and Safety Executive (HSE) also report to the police about the fork lift using the road with tax and insurance under Road Traffic Act. The road is maintained as a mixed responsibility. Also should be charged for wasting police time.

The forklift: there’s an issue that’s all too frequently ignored. (Them and golf carts).
Constantly used by businesses yet not licensed to be on the roadways.
It’s an issue to me because; I’ve had an idiot on a forklift back up into my truck. Caved in a large section of the box. The operator called his boss, who came out and offered to cover the damages, just get a quote and bring it back to him. When I tried to bring him the quote 3 days later, he was ‘busy’. The next week he was ‘away for the week’. After a month and a half, when I finally caught him in the parking lot, he says that it’s between me and the guy that was operating the forklift. And BTW he no longer works here. Then wouldn’t give me the operators name.
It took over 7 months but I did get my truck repaired at their expense. (But I also had to drive around with a smashed truck for 7mos because I didn’t want to have it repaired, then have them deny the extent of the damage.

I can only call this a disastrous 'Own Goal'. Wacking great sign stating their zero tolerance to plastic beads laying around. Works manager stating the area is cleaned every day. Then DJ Audits uploads video evidence clearly showing plastic beads everywhere, even in the surface water drains. Policies not working and manager telling fibs.
The comment from DJ about the consequencies of the fork lift being involved in an accident whilst using the road was well founded, possibly doing so without insurance. Clearly the fork lift truck is operating on the public road. Perhaps some clarification needed about the fork lift operating on a public road without the appropriate licence and possibly no insurance.
