Here after he hit his 3rd grand slam in a week. Idk how his career will play out, but this kid legit has the “it” factor to be a superstar. Hoping he carries my twins team for years to come
As a soccer referee, I'm familiar with observing player collisions. However, when similar incidents happen in baseball, they feel more unexpected, adding to the element of surprise. Nonetheless, it is regrettable that the risk of injury is an inherent part of these sports.
For me aa a twins fan its byron buxton. Early in his career he forsure got himself in trouble with his play in center, but a lot of his injuries have not been his fault, especially later in his career. If he could play anywhere near a 162 game season in center, he would be a legitimate mvp candidate, but now he has a chronic knee problem and will peobably never reach his ceiling
Saw this with Grady Sizemore. All the talent in the world and plays hard, but because of that ends up injured. Gotta respect the hustle but sometimes you gotta remember you need to stay on the field to truly help your team.
As a twins fan it’s so sad to see. He’s been amazing and hope he can stay healthy and not turn into another Byron Buxton 😞
He’s such a talented player, I hope he can stay healthy and have a great career.

add another on to that
Here after he also snapped the twins 18 year playoff streak with all 3 runs coming off his bat in G1

that collision was terrifying, amazing he wasn't injured

Buxton has had much more bad luck than Royce.
This aged well
3 Grand Slam's in 8 games... This has the potential to age like milk.
I hope it does
title aged like milk, great video though. hopefully he can stay healthy through the playoffs!
and even worse that collision was the day before his birthday
He is back an even better than before. If he can stay healthy, he has the talent to be a superstar. May Jesus bless him and keep him safe.
Guess what though… he’s back and better then ever
If you think he has the worst luck, I'd lookup gold glove first basemen Evan White.
and it was his birthday yesterday 🥲🥲
As disappointing as that was, look no further than Jacob DeGrom,he is the poster boy for bad luck,a hall of famer in this category!
He's healthy now. I expect a good season.
I couldn't trade this guy on my Show seasons team, plays a bunch of positions
Here after he broke the twins playoff losing record
He needs to chill out. He's reckless.
