Yeah, I'm not sure where all the fear is coming from. It's not like I'm trying to lift the wheel with the tether. The only thing the tether is doing is knock it onto it's side. Once the wheel is on it's side, on the ground, it's rendered harmless
@@DawnSChampion Have you ever heard of someone testing out those coiled fall arrestor things as a tether? It could probably soak up a ton of kinetic energy in a worst case scenario I'm just not sure if there is enough standoff distance between the wheel if it starts going crazy.
@ no I haven’t. But honestly, it doesn’t take much to make the wheel fall to its side. You’re not trying to absorb all the energy. Once it’s knocked to the side, the ground will absorb the rest
