A constant problem with audi compared to jeep or Toyota, is difficulty finding good self help guides for stuff. I've been putting off this repair because it seemed high risk and difficulty. You made it seem so easy and explained stuff so well, I tackled it and I did just fine. Thank you so much for one of the most helpful videos I've ever found on you tube!
Yeah I agree. Owned a Hyundai Accent before I got my Seat Altea XL, with the CDAA 1.8 TSI. I need to carbon clean the valves and have found very little info on my engine. With the Hyundai I found info everywhere! I am here watching this video as I presume the process with the VW 2.0 is very similar to the 1.8.
Dude, I just finished doing this job on my wife's 2010 Audi A5 2.0T! Excellent video tutorial on it, hers is a 2010 so the injector was the newer style but everything else was the same, helped me a lot.
Best VW/audi mechanic, truely saves you all the BS removal tools and "advice" other youtubers tell you. The other want to sell you crap by removing everything, then conveniently having you buy these unneeded items from their website. This man is a blessing from the Lord!!!!
Busy fixing a failed timing chain tensioner on my daughters Audi Q5 2.0L TFSI so have to remove cylinder head and replace some valves. Have been watching a lot of youtube videos for help and I find your videos the best cause you explain and and show step by step how to do which makes your videos so much simpler to fallow than most others. Thanks for your videos they are a tremendous help to me.
how this video has 2 thumbs down makes no sense. This was a very detailed walk through and helped me tremendously in carbon cleaning my 2009 Audi A4. He's strangely entertaining and relaxing to boot. Thanks for taking the time to put this together bud.
I have a 09 an guess what came with high oil consumption after I'm done paying off its going to be rebuilt thanks too all your knowledge on the 2.0 TSI...watched all your videos👍
I have a 2011 A4 (MT) with the tfsi. I just successfully replaced the turbo myself. Now I feel like I’m ready for more. The car has a lot of issues but it’s much more fun than a Toyota or Honda. I’m just wanting to learn all I can. Thank you.
I broke one Injektor Plastic thing when I take it out! This Plastic thing should be first inside than Injector ? What’s ist the benefit of those Plastic? Thank you so much, your help me a lot because of this video🙏🙏
Thank you for the to point and useful video.but the question is:what will happen if we drop 2 of the injector orings into the manifold what trying to replace injectors? I appreciate you for the soonest reply 👍🙏
Thank you for the Guide video. I have a questions for you. I took off fuel Injector rail but I can't see nowhere rail hold bolt and nut mount on Cylinder head. How I hold Injector rail on Cylinder Head?
Love and subscribed to your channel. Struggling to trouble shoot a 2016 Audi Q3 2.0 TFSI Quattro. Last Sunday it started running rough and starting out from a light would barely move. At first I thought that it was bad fuel. It has 4 permanent codes P2293 (N279) fuel pressure regulator mechanical failure, Knock sensor, cylinder 1 misfire and random misfire. I changed coil 1, all plugs and HPFP and checked bucket follower. No metal present in the oil. Verified spark and LPFP. I have a crank but no start situation. I turned crank clockwise and it turns freely (no piston valve contact). Hence why I am watching this video as I think checking injectors is probably the next step?
Thanks for the video, helped so much. One problem. I messed up at the end. Over tightened the nut on the back pillar. Snapped it off. What’s my next move?
Nice Video, I removed my intake on my Mk5 GTI, I am having some difficulty putting the lower intake manifold bracket back on. I a wobble extension the best tool for the job? Thanks Joe
Proper job fella. I am master tech in Korean brand workshop UK . What you are doing is what I am doing in my own time.excellent tips regarding fuel line and vacuum pipes..just one question what the hell is a triple square??
In my opinion a triple square is one of the only things that makes me want to strangle audi I wish they just used regular shit essentially its a bolt but instead of being able to slap a socket over it it has an internal system like a screw but it's not a Philips or a flathead it has like a star shape and you need that shaped bit to sit inside of it to take it off they call it a triple square torx bit because if you look at the patter it's like 3 squares on top of eachother staggered some people call it a 12 point cause its got 12 points it looks like a star just with well 12 points and I fucking hate them because they strip and it's a headache to find the bits anywhere
I'm getting ready to replace my injectors on my Audi tt mk2 Quattro. I have two lean cylinders and two rich. Outsides are rich. Inside lean. I do have a stage 2 tune and other mods. Is the transverse 2.0 tfsi the same basic procedures, just front facing? I'm replacing my Intercooler and radiator same day, so I'll have plenty of room to work. Do you have an install video for a TT for Intercooler and or injector replacement?
Can you disconnect the fuel rail from the intake manifold, leaving the fuel rail and the injectors in the engine? Then remove the rail and injectors? Looks like it would be easier to align everything back up on the install?
What if water coolant got into the air intake hose & fried something while trying to start the engine? Which components would’ve got damaged? Engine will not try to turn over after the initial attempt.
I have Tiguan with 2.0 TFSI engine. Driving on highway injector blow up and got stuck in open position. Drove home for about 10 minutes, had some white smoke coming out exhaust. My question is, how likely that there is catalytic converter damage from fuel coming out and should change engine oil as well? Thanks
Just went thru the same thing. 2010 gti and number 4 injector got stuck open on the interstate. Limped it home about 5 miles. Changed all the injectors and she’s running perfect again. Definitely change oil with a leaking fuel injector. It can mix with the oil and can cause a lot of problems
You rock man! Are those heads had the same number? 06h 103 373 ? Different last letter? Because I saw once 06h 103 373 j and the other one same number but ending in K. Congrats very interesting and informative videos.
I took off my manifold and found a lot of carbon and some oil on my injectors is there a good way to clean it I can even see a lot of carbon on the lifters too and probably oil in there too is there a good way to clean those as well? Please help it’s my first Audi 2.0t and it keep shaking at idle under 1500 rpm’s and I’m guessing this is the reason why it also gives me misfire codes is that because the injectors are dirty
What's the best procedure? Injectors in the rail and then push into the head (as seen)? or... injectors in the head and then push on the rail? It's a bit fiddly to get the connectors on using the second method- but you can feel the injectors are fully seated and at the correct angle.
@@brandonblack9452 I'm sure either method can work. I did injectors in the head first and then pushed on the rail. The downside is the electrical connectors are fiddly.
I have 2010 Volkswagen CC and I need to change injector since it leaks, I have 4 new injectors bosh brand, but can’t replace them because of mechanic price. Maybe there are mechanics here who could help me as cheaply as possible? I live in Los Angeles. And thank you so much for video👍
2012 Audi A4 Quattro. Replaced all four fuel injectors. It ran really well at first but now has the check engine light on and runs a little rough. Do the fuel injectors need to be “recoded” after replacing them?
Thank you! I got P2188, P0300, P0303 and P0304. Running rich and misfires in cylinder 3 and 4. Could that mean that injector 3 and 4 are not in correctly? The seals kit was replaced for all four cylinders.
Searched through your videos and answered my own question. The car runs good, doesn’t pop like it used to. Just got the light and it runs a little rough, at times. Thank you! Your videos are very valuable. We’ll replace the High Pressure Fuel Pump next and do your test to determine if it’s the coil or spark plug on cylinder 3. P0304 went away after driving it more. Its spark plugs were recently changed and replaced with the same Chinese brand spark plugs that you said were trash. Likely will need to change them and recheck the codes. That’s the plan.
I have an 05 A4 b7 2.0t with 268k miles. She has a coolant leak I have identified at the corner of the engine where the head mounts to the block (passenger side, closest to fire wall). Want to ask if you thought it would be a gasket or a warped head? Just wanted to say it isn’t the rear coolant flange. Is this repair worth the work with the mileage I have? Any input would be greatly appreciated and keep up the good work!
Question, I have a 2013 a4 but it's manual so it's not flex fuel because of the plastic intake, is it as easy as just swapping intakes to convert to flex fuel or is it a major upgrade?
I got an 2012 a5 2.0tfsi, been fighting against this problem lately: on cold start its having a little rough idle, getting black smoke once I push the throttle, crazy oil consumtion (1.5 litres per 300 km), there is some fuel smell in oil, and the fuel consumption is intermittently high, sometimes I get 13 km/l sometimes just 5-4. I smell burnt oil in the cabin time to time, but I never found it dripping if there is a leak. Could it be consuming oil because it gets diluted by gas? Changed spark plugs, pcv, hpfp but the issue is still present. The turbo is good. Im thinking to change fuel injectors now. Could it be anything else? Ill appreciate your advice
Hi Sir. I have p2015 error. then, I changed intake manifold for my mk6gti, along with new sensor. but the error still shown up sir. do we need to recalibrate it using comp after the changes done to remove the error? because when i reset the code, the code keep coming back.
Is it ok to reuse the teflon seals on the injectors? As others have said one of if The best video tutorials on RUclips, even a non mechanical novice like me gets it..thanks!
I have a 2010 A5 2.0 tfsi quattro tiptronic cabriolet, the engine consumen oil and I have to rebilled the engine the problem arrive after calling repair cars garages and any body I can imagine, I did not fine any body to do it, making the story short, if I take the engine and send it to you, do you rebuilt it and send it to me? Audizine has tons and tons of very well put together and well explained write ups on just about anything you could need to do to one of these cars.
Don’t forget the torque specifications you can find online 10nm for the nuts 30 nm for the bolts on the intake manifold
Jeep? Lol, don't ever put Toyota and Jeep in the same category.
I am my daughter's Audi mechanic. Thank you for making this straight forward video. It allowed me to do it in a day.

does the shoulder clip catch behind the metal flange on the fuel rail or sit in front?
Hi so when do you plug the fuel injector plugs back in. Before or after you seat the whole inlet manifold back in place.
Before

why not clean the valves while the manifold is off?
I have a 2013 A4 and my injectors all came out with the intake. Then I saw that they made a tool. Are they supposed to be hard to get out?
