I had this on preorder at Pulse but cancelled. Maybe it was because it was so soon? But Hasbro comes out with so much GI Joe product that I decided to pass on this repaint as I already have him in the classic colors. Beginning to feel I don’t need every single variation of a character.
When the O-rings broke on the 3/4 Joes I just got a screwdriver and opened them up and replaced the rubber band with multiple small hair tie bands or the ones you got for braces on your teeth and they worked just the same . Sometimes you had to double the bands over to make them tight , but I did it all the time .
I’d love to get a pair of those bandoliers for Rock and Roll!
I prefer windowless.
I got both versions, going go make them TWINS and they will battle Xamot & Tomax on my display ;)
They’ve done this with the dusty and almost right behind that TF editor. Seems like Bazooka has a similar release with the TF first then not long after the regular version or vice versa. Of all the double dips I’d say it’s a close match up with the snake eyes and roadblock versions released and that’s not even getting into the retro cards that some of them get in addition the movie versions, sub teams and main line. Didn’t get the classified version of TR yet

I guess if you swap the legs between these two, they more closely represent the original figures (if you into that sort of thing). And where's Wolf Spider? Isn't he Night Force too?

Not much about this figure makes sense. First, a tunnel rat was a Vietnam era thing. Next, a tunnel rat carrying a Heavy Machine gun with a bib back pack that has flashlights on top?!? He supposed to be a TUNNEL RAT, crawling through tunnels. He would NEVER carry a heavy machine gun and/or a huge backpack because it makes it impossible for him to crawl through tunnels.
