In February, Airtel “updated” mine to V.9.0.10P1N16B and since then even mine has been greyed out. But, after that so called update, my download speed shows over 450 Mbps for a 200 Mbps connection, even though the upload speed hasn’t changed. But haan, drawback is that you can’t use your own router in proper router mode since you can’t enable Bridge mode on this one. Got a new connection last month and they gave the Nokia G2425 router which allows me to use bridge mode even though I haven’t got around to using it. Will try it sometime soon.

If refreshed the original code is reloaded for the page. - The question is "did the hacked session setting actually modified the device configuration?" if it did, it doesn't matter what the page shows after refresh, as long as you don't apply the routing setting again... Maybe you just need to disable NAT in that screen to convert it to bridge?

it might be due to software version as with time software get bugs and fixes with time and companies like airtel rollout.
