One becomes unimpressed after flying so many times on the 747. But then you see a video like this, and you almost cannot believe the real size of the airplane!! I was happily amazed by this, even though my first 747 flight was in 1974 TWA!
I had the opportunity to tour the inside of a 747-400 at the Delta Air Museum. It was stripped of seats and had plexiglass in the floor to see various systems. I've flown the 747 before, but seeing it empty, it was absolutely cavernous!! By the way, it was the first 747-400 built for a commercial airline.
it's much bigger on the inside than I thought it'd be. The cargo helped to give you a sense of the huge scale, thanks for the tour. Sadly 747's are being phased out...you'd think they'd keep them around at least for shipping freight.
Yes very interesting 2 me because one never really sees the inside of a fairly empty cargo plane and I enjoyed watching the video clip therefore Thanks a lot !! 😊😊
@@Al_Dente-d1p dear John thanx for the supporting answer that's what you tube is all about between aviation lovers. Therefore the gargo space at the Airbus A-300 Beluga is not pressurerised.
During loading and offloading the containers placement is carefully calculated in order to keep the aircraft from falling on its tail. Something that has happened several times.

I'd really be careful posting videos like this, especially with customer property on the main deck. Our company has fired fellow pilots for as little as taking a selfie in front of customer property
WOW very impressive, the aircraft is so freaking huge on the inside.
Long live the queen of the skies in any configuration, thanks for posting!
Thanks for sharing. Nice seeing inside after the cargo is loaded.

Really enjoying these uploads. Keep them coming
A lot bigger in there than I would have imagined. Big beautiful bird, glad it is still in use and flying the skies.
Loadmaster wow ,what a position of cargo plates 👍🏼
Wish you had 360° camera and we had seen this in VR headset. ❤️
Interesting how you balance the load front wing centre and the rear you tend to forget what is involved in getting hundreds of tons off Terra firma

simply beautiful
Nice video
Things of this size fascinate me to no end yet it's kinda scary.
Had I been there when the lights went out.... Must nope
this is martinair cargo's boeing 747-400BCF it took me a while to understand the top part was full of windows but it's beautiful
Nice job!
Wow
I can literally live there
What cargo airline is this?
Anybody know what the lateral imbalance limit is on a 747-400F ? I noticed most of the pallets are on the left side.
Frank Carlos There really isn’t one. It’s all centerline weight whatever side it’s on.
AlehandroRojas ok understood. On the KC-10 we had a lateral imbalance limit.
Is the cargo area pressurised during flight?
@Steven Strain interesting that is one Big Coke can 😁
idiot

It's very huge inside
That’s one big bird...
How is temperature of inside cargo airplane?
Not much cargo considering how much fuel is needed to fly this giant.
So the forward loads off-set to the left are acting as a counter-balance or just the order of the off-load?
During loading and offloading the containers placement is carefully calculated in order to keep the aircraft from falling on its tail. Something that has happened several times.
Make an approximation video in Campinas Brazil it’s been a while since I published your best videos
Omg! Muchas gracias! 🖐️🖐️
When you see a hollow 747 from the inside it makes you realise how big it actually is.
Martinair Holland???
Victor Schepers KLM Cargo
Nanko van Dijk/ staat Martinair op de vrachtdeur !!!!
Victor Schepers je hebt gelijk ! Ik zie KLM /Martinair Cargo bij andere filmpjes.
PH-MPS

I wish, imagine no crazy passengers

So technically this cargo plane can still carry passengers.
I feel they could have placed at least one seat in corner so that the employee can watch the goods 24x7 .
😍😍😍😍😍😍👌👌👌👌👌👌👌
God bless plane and pilots in Jesus name. Amen.
God bless in Jesus name. Amen.
I’d have random latches up and locked even in empty slots, as a just in case⚠️
A996601 they are. It’s just hard to see. All locks on empty positions are required to be put up in case the load were to shift

The 747 lives on in the world of Air Freight!.....Joe Sutter would be proud.
