  • Join me on an unexpected adventure as I share a quick journey of running an incredible 2000 miles, all with the goal of losing weight. In this video, I take you through the highs, the lows, and the surprising outcome of this ambitious endeavour.
🏃‍♂️ My Challenge: I set out with a straightforward plan - run to lose weight. From city streets to nature trails, I covered an astounding 2000 miles in a year while training for 2 marathons.
🍽️ The Oversight: While I laced up my running shoes and hit the pavement with determination, there was one crucial element I overlooked - my diet. I believed that running alone would be the key to shedding those pounds, but I discovered a vital lesson along the way.
⚖️ The Unexpected Outcome: As the year drew to a close, I stepped on the scale, expecting to see a significant drop. But to my surprise, the numbers told a different story. Despite all those miles, my weight had actually increased.
📚 What I Learned: This video isn't just about running or the numbers on the scale. It's a journey of self-discovery, understanding the importance of a balanced approach to fitness and nutrition, and recognising the myths surrounding weight loss.
📣 Sharing My Story: I'm sharing my experience to inspire and inform others who might be on a similar path.

During marathon prep I ate 2000 cal per day and I felt strong the whole way through. I did stop the calorie deficit 3 weeks before the marathon
