The message: One of the most obvious attacks today is regarding human sexuality, where God's Word is turned on its head and interpreted the opposite of what is written.
Some of the most basic facts given in Scripture are being ignored or twisted, such as Genesis 1:27 and 28 which say, "So God created man in His own image; in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them. Then God blessed them, and . . . said to them, 'Be fruitful and multiply. . .'"

Hosea 2:11 plainly states " *her sabbaths* ", (the feast days of ancient lsrael; "which are a shadow of _things to come_ " Colossians 2:17-19). The Sabbath of God points back to *Creation* and not to Calvary. But "the seventh day is _the_ Sabbath of the *Lord thy God* " (Exodus 20:8-11).

@ven6372 It is interesting to note that you cited scripture to support your stance; for which l commend you. Most, if not all, don't quote any scripture at all--only their beliefs. "People are destroyed for lack of knowledge" (Hosea 4:6). However, the prophet plainly states in the verse you quoted, that it was" *her sabbaths* " and *not* "the seventh day...of the Lord thy God" (Exodus 20:10). The Israelites had other "sabbaths" they honored "besides the Sabbath of the Lord" (Exodus 31:15,16/Leviticus 23:38,39). God's Sabbath is a part of the _Ten Commandments_ , as is the other nine (James 2:10). "There remains a rest to the people of God...as God did. Let us labor therefore to enter that rest" (Hebrews 4:9-11).
@BitchMadeTard322 As you said, dear brother, the Hebrew rites were "a shadow of _things to come_ " (Colossians 2:17), pointing to *Calvary* . But the seventh day is the Sabbath *of the Lord* ( See Exodus 20:10). It would be nice if Pastor Ted quoted more scripture to substantiate his point of view, of which l concur. People of all denominations tend to follow a man without studying for themselves (Hosea 4:6). I think we need to be careful how we defend our beliefs; not using words to attack; or even foul YT titles. For "every idle word...men shall...give account thereof in the judgment. For by your words you will be justified, and by your words you will be condemned" (Matthew 12:36,37).

@@AdventistOrgChurch Jesus loves his church, he has compassion and leads it with patience and long-suffering. He nourishes and nurtures it but also he admonishes the church. When he clearly points out sin, this leads to decisions.. I believe that we are in the middle of the Omega crisis and sometimes I wonder how Jesus will give the sign to head for the iceberg. But it is comforting to know that although the church will tremble, it will not perish. The Holy Spirit leads his church and we are his vessels.

It is very clear to me, but apparently not to the rest of the church. The leadership of the SDA church and many of its institutions (LLU, LSU, and others) support and profit from abortions. I hope you are aware of it.
Elder Ted here just reemphasized the explicit biblical doctrine on marriage, between one man and and one woman ONLY. Remember that marriage is one of the two institutions established by the creator God in Eden, the other is the 7th-day Sabbath. The issue on abortion is left for us to undetstand by our own personal study of His word and response to God's love. In John 14:15, "If you love me, keep my commandments.." This also includes the keeping the 6th Commandment in Exodus 20:13, that says, "You shall not murder." So then, abortion is murder or not? This is clear enough where we don't have to wait for a general conference president tell us what to do or not to do. If we seek the Holy Spirit everyday, He will guide us into all truth (John 16:13) - the truth that killing a fellow human being is a sin and abortion is what it is.

You know here in Minneapolis where the 1888 message was rejected, the local conference here has been baptizing, homosexuals and transvestites for 15 years and because I stood up against their agenda. I’ve not been permitted to enter any Seventh-day Adventist church here in town even though I’m a baptized member and they didn’t even permit me to defend myself And no one in the general conference would help my wife and I so what gives you the right to come out now Pastor? Is it only convenient when you feel like it or should you have defended my wife and I 15 years ago? How about the fact that they’re bringing Catholic priests in for Pastor exchanges and letting them give the sermon? Do you support this? Are you ever going to address it?
This sounds like a church issue, but im no pastor but I believe that adventists have the truth but the denomination is going to get corrupt before the end, follow Jesus my friend and don't ever let a church steal your promises
So Minneapolis started this practice before Ted Wilson's presidency...while Jan Paulsen was president. That makes it less surprising (the same leadership that wouldn't allow Walter Veith say on Hope TV that the world was created in six 24 hour days). But still very disturbing that up to now it is still going on. I am especially sad since I grew up in Minneapolis.
My brother I feel your pain. But hold on to your faith. The beaurocracy gas been corrupted. The government has their hand on it. But the truth remains with the people of the church. Let your light so shine before men. So that they may see your good works and glorify our father which is in heaven.
Keep spreading the word. Keep praying for the church leaders and policy makers. But never lose your faith for their sakes. They will answer for themselves!!

Can you imagine seeing a man dressed as a woman passing the collection plate? Or a lesbian wearing her lesbian biker gang jacket, passing the collection plate on her first week after being secretly baptized? Or Catholic priests coming into your church to give the sermon and when you object they send the police to your home to tell you not to come back? why does the general conference not do anything about this? My wife and I have not had communion in the church for 14 years. Is that acceptable to Ted Wilson? Why doesn’t he do anything about it? Why is he just making videos and not stepping up as the president of our general conference?

Heard a lot of negativity about Paster Ted. Had me confused about him for a long time. Even to the point where all respect for him was about gone. However this message came from God . He has given this church direction .
He is keeping the SDA organization mired in heresy and confusion....when he condemns their hospital practice and church stance on abortion then perhaps I'll have some respect for him...

I need to add to my remarks. Elder Wilson did remark that sexual aberration is not the only sin we need to guard against. And I realize that he can’t get political. I don’t know what else to say, except that I have felt like our leaders have seemed to go against the left pretty hard and not much against the right.
I'm not American so I'm admittedly biased, but I believe that not everything has to be viewed through the eyes of politics. There's individuals on the political left and right who live lifestyles in opposition to biblical principles of sexuality. This doesn't need to be a matter of left and right, it's a matter of following God's word.
Yeshua showed how we should live... Apolitical... render to Ceasar what's Cesar's and to Yah. That which is Yah's.. but because we as a church neglect this simple yet telling command we are in the position we are in...
PAY WHATEVER TAXES WE NEED TO PAY. SO THE GOVERNMENT HAS NO SAY IN HOW WE WORSHIP AND SERVE OUR HEAVENLY FATHER. Or threaten to have us pay back taxes if we don't honor their equality and inclusive laws. Let's pay our share of taxes so neither left nor right can force their ways into our pews.. bc both sides fail to do the will of our Father.

Greetings Pastor, i have been watching the Heritage Singers and noticed that most if not all are wearing ring(jewelry). Since when it was allowed? As far as i know, you can distinguish someone if he/she is an SDA outside of church if no ring or any ear piercing.
Well, many people attempt to speak with clarity and conviction but many times it's arrogant opinions. Sadly. I'd rather have someone who is "quick to listen and slow to speak".

Why are the pastors who are promoting this lifestyle within the church not disfellowshipped by the conference? It goes against one of the 28 fundamentals of beliefs, so why are they not asked like to leave a leadership role?

@@AdventistOrgChurch It's not biblical. We all know its origins and where it came from. Who the holiday really honours and whose birthday it really is. Please note that I have no problem if an individual chooses to celebrate it because that's not my business (it's between them and God), but when the church promotes it, it's very discouraging. Every December, we see these pastors, who are great influences in the church, sharing Christmas greeting messages across social media and on Hope Channel. And the various church platforms (mainly GC and NAD) share Christmas-themed items. That's not right. Whoever chooses to celebrate it, let them do it, but don't have the church promote it. This has been a very dividing issue within our church, as it's mostly the SDAs in North America and Europe that celebrate it. Outside of those regions, Christmas observance is not prominent among SDAs. So please, allow people to choose, and do not have the church force it on everyone. Please.

Sorry to say, even it is a really very good speech, but the title is "taking a bold stand", and what is now with the homosexual, LGBT Pastors , who openly promote their sinful lifestyle? I dont understand how the conference can allow the churches schools and institutions that are teaching what GOD says is an abomination.Allowing leaders , pastors and teachers to continue under the umbrella of the SDA conference. This is way beyond letting the wheat and tares to grow together
How can we continue to attend such churches and institutions with our children or invite people to church where such things are taught ? Is not making us who attend churches schools ,etc that teach tese things just as guilty if we attend and support such teachings ? I agree we should welcome all people into church with love ,but allowing our pastors,teachers and leaders to teach these things and continue to have the support of the conference calling themselves SDA is confusing and very wrong.Why would we attend these places and allow our children to be taught these things ? Why does the SDA conference allow this ? You as President speaking truth does not matter if you continue to allow those institutions to teach not only error but abominations of GODS word abd still officially call themselves SDA.

That is not an answer
There can be no justification for blatant allowencence of false teaching as it relates to salvation issues .if the LORD says something is an abomination the church must not turn away when these things are being taught and accepted. Those that allow this to be taught by our leaders t are just as guiltily as those who teach it. The General Conference must take a firm stand. I hate to say it but it seems if it was an issue over Ellen White the Conference would be sure to put that down.I am very saddened by it. I cannot recommend the church as a whole body anymore ..Only individual churches and institutions where I know these abominations are not being taught
The issues with Loma Linda and the letter supporting gay pride month as well as the incident with Stephen Borg are just 2 examples. There are many more. Yet they continue under the SDA umbrella. Why ?

The apostle sought to teach the believers how important it is to keep the mind from wandering to forbidden themes or from spending its energies on trifling subjects. Those who would not fall a prey to Satan's devices, must guard well the avenues of the soul; they must avoid reading, seeing, or hearing that which will suggest impure thoughts. The mind must not be left to dwell at random upon every subject that the enemy of souls may suggest. Whenever Christians say “But is it Biblical?”, I get uneasy. Smashing an enemy’s infant against a rock is biblical. Enslaving other humans is biblical. I’m much more interested in if it is loving.

@@AdventistOrgChurch I encourage my children to befriend and defend anyone who is bullied or marginalized, including LGBTQIA+ people. I empower women by lifting them up in the workplace and making sure they are heard and given equal status, pay and title. I never present mythical problems to my friends and then tell them that I’m the only one who can solve the problems. I do not condemn or try to change the people around me for what they choose to eat, wear, listen to, watch, who they love etc., if those things are not hurting themselves or others. That’s how I show love. How do you show love?
