The girls are gorgeous I just wished they walked like how they use to back in the 80s/90s. I loved the spins the head turns the way they took off a coat and slower tempo. These designers are making these girls walk too damn fast, you can hardly see and appreciate their work.

Edie, Adwoa, & Mona had fierce walks imo. The Haidid gals did too, Gigi's was better than Bella's. I love a great fierce walk but it has to be paced right and still look elegant, and theirs is like that. Bella has the perfect model face, and Gigi is a really popular opener because shes kinda alreay well known, iconic, it grabs their attention.

Is it more important to open or close a show and why?
Open absolutely....when you open a show, that means that a designer/casting director has decided that you best epitomize what the collection, and thus what the brand, currently represents. You are the first impression. Often girls who open the show (although, not always), go on to star in the campaign. Models like Anja Rubik with Fendi, Cara Delevingne with Chanel, Natalia Vodianova with Calvin Klein, Karlie Kloss with Dior, often go on to lucrative exclusives with brands for season after season.

what's more impressive is that aside from opening 5 shows, Gigi closed 8 SHOWS during FW 2018, the most out of all the models. She may have walked less number of show counts but no models ever came near her closing credit feat.

70s 80s 90s were the best years for Glamorous Runway Shows. Ebony Fashion Fair Shows were the best. And anyone who ever attended those shows knows what I am talking about.

However the Modeling shows and the Models years ago gave us Glamour,Fashion and the Models entertained us on those Runways. The Majority of the Models today are boring,some cannot even walk and they are stiff walking down the isles. There is no hatred,because today's Models could never compete with our Models from the 70,80s and 90s Era PERIOD.
