It was a bittersweet moment at Santa Anita Park this morning as Triple Crown Champion American Pharoah had his final workout of his illustrious career.
American Pharoah,Zenyatta,Curlin, Rachel Alexandra and maybe California Chrome...racing Legends all Had careers that made them Legends themselves but all that had to come to an End but who knows their Offspring Future Sons and Daughters will Come to the Racing world to pick up what their Parents had left off. even though they have retired but their Spirit lives on in their foals who will become Legends as well and maybe a American Pharaoh Sired Colt or Filly will Run around the Track in their Father's footsteps
It shits me how a friggen champion isn’t allowed to race to its full potential, imagine what might have been with him and the likes of secretariat had been allowed to run til they were 4 or 5, then they’d be untouchable
I'm personally a Secretariat fan and I see no reason to become angry and insecure, Pharoah is now retired and hasn't beaten Sec or come close. Nothing to worry about...
