  • Hello & welcome to Beautiful England 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿

Join us for a lovey walk of the inside & the outside of this beautiful Church of St. James dating back to the 13th Century.
St. James Church is hidden deep in the Wiltshire Countryside but serves the village of Bratton in Wiltshire.
We start our walk on the edge of the village of Bratton & we then walk towards the Church, it is a little walk but the Church is about a 10-15 minute walk from the main part of the village of Bratton itself.
There was another very small village called Littlestoke which was built between the Church of St. James & Bratton, which would explain why the Church is so far away from the village of Bratton itself.
The village of Littlestoke has now sadley completely disappeared, it is though that back in the 1300’s Littlestoke had the deadly Plague which ravaged England back in the 1300’s which could of wiped out the village of Littlestoke completely.
Enjoy the walk to the beautiful Church on a beautiful sunny afternoon in the Wiltshire Countryside & the walk around the outside & the inside of the Church itself.
Then join me & Lorraine for a nice Cup of Tea & some cake as in a picnic, at the end of our video.
