Yes they changed the bottles around 6 months ago mate. I preferred the old ones but thankfully the beers did not change. Thanks for watching cheers BOSH 🍻
This whole thing about messing with the ABV's and making us confused happens here in the States too. They're sneaky, they lower without even giving a heads up.
Asda used to sell the bottles sometimes on a special offer of £1 a bottle. It's a very good beer. I'm sure I've seen it on sale as a real ale in a local pub, and I'm intrigued to try that version. It's quite a sessionable beer(even though it's 5.5% ABV). St. Austell's also do Tribune, which I quite like as well. I've just looked on their website, and they do quite a few beers others which I didn't know about, which I would like to try in the future.
Your mathematics are wrong mate, Tesco sell 500ml bottles for £1.89 so 6L works out at £22.68 and the keg is £38.90 so there is a £16 difference not £6 which is a big difference, is it worth it at that?
Oh in my Tesco it's 3 for £6 and you have to take into account that you get beer tokens for buying the keg and £5 for sending them back. Regardless I prefer the bottles and there a fair amount cheaper too! Thanks for watching cheers BOSH 🍻
Good beer, this. I've only had it bottled, not on keg/tap. Good review!
It's great from the bottle best version in my opinion thanks for watching cheers BOSH 🍻
Proper Job in bottles is the way, love a good PJ ...
Yes mate top quality cheers BOSH 🍻
Very interesting comparison, didn't this used to come in a completely different bottle?

I think it's always been lower ABV on keg strange 😂

There a decent brewery bud. Liked most of the beers I've tried by them thanks for watching cheers BOSH 🍻
We pronounce St. Austell in Cornwall as,
'St. Ohstuhl' :D

I can't believe the keg is lower ABV. What are PD doing?
I think it's always 4.5 on tap some beers vairy in ABV on tap. I don't think it's a perfectdraft only thing bud. Thanks for watching cheers BOSH 🍻
I have a sneaky suspicion the brewery may be trialling this lower abv for future bottles - hope not btw .

Yeah but not bottles . I hope not though.
Yeo! It’s been 4.5 on cask for years. Both are lovely. I have never tried a ‘keg’ version, though. Great review as always, Adam! BOSH
I suspect this is a ‘keg version’ of the original 4.5 abv cask
whats that around ur neck, is that the button you press when you fall and cant stand up ;P
😂😂😜 that would be handy but it's just a wireless mic! Thanks for watching cheers BOSH 🍻
