I was on line for most of the almost 2 hours. Shawn was on a roll. Love to see his workflow. Always something to learn. I do have to say this was the best walkthrough of the three toontracks products I have seen here on RUclips. Hightly recommended.😀
Can't recommend this highly enough. This is Shawn with some great general principles - fully demonstrated - about how to "go about the task" of using all three Toontrack plugins to build songs/make music - in his highly approachable way. This beats any dry geek speak manual - its a musician searching for what works in a practical way. It emphasises the process - the nuts and bolts of how to go about it. Complete with legendary Shootie Humour Plugin - on steroids. Carve hours off the learning curve.
Nice work Shawn. I too couldn't watch the livestream, but enjoyed watching it later. Also, you threw in a couple of gems that enable us to improve our workflow (these alone will help save quite a bit of time) and I'm sure it's not just me that appreciated you taking the time to share. All the best.
Last night ran across being able to record your ezkeys2 project into ezbass to come up with the bass line. Using the drop down at the bottom of ezbass and then it will ask you if you want to import midi into your DAW. I did it and it worked wonderfully.
Yes, awesome. There’s a few methods, but sooner than later if you look in your Track menu, you can just open EZK2 projects in ezbass. It works with ezk1,not yet with EZK2. Keep an eye on the updates coming.
This was fun! Would love to see you lead some songwriting workshops with EZ products. I get a lot out of your external processing as you make decisions. Figuring out where to start can be the hardest part!
Love all your Toontrack videos Shawn. Got all the Toontrack EZ Everything and Superior Drummer 3. Love the new EZKeys 2. Would be nice if you would do a deticated video on the Suggested Chords. Such a powerful song writing tool. Thanks for all your EZToFollow videos.
Hey I really appreciate all your help. I bought EZ Drum, Bass, Keys and Mix. You were right bro game changer. My one question is how to find strings on ezk? I don’t see anywhere to find them. This would help a lot on ballads right? Thanks, Jon
building a song from the scratch outside a band setting it's hard for me as a guitar player I usually start with a riff and wait for the bass player and drummer input
Another Toontrack Masterclass! With an additional bonus PSA on the dangers of bathtub acid! I hear ya... Been there. Learned a lot of great workflow improvements. I've wasted so much time copying chord blocks and "pasting at playblack head". Didn' t know i could just drag and drop. What a time and carpal tunnel saver!!
interesting workflow!! do you also sometimes use the bandmate feature after starting in ezkeys? then use bandmate in ezdrummer, and bandmate in ezbass?
sorry i missed most of it, its been busy around my spot and will be on weekends til i get a major project completed over the summer....but i will try and make it as much as I can to chip in and hang out. Hang in there bro, you have the mindset to be successful, so its all just down to the patience and hard work....but im confident it will happen for you. Just throw some groupies my way when you hit da big time
Sir you're talking, drinking, caughing , everything but not explaining I'm sorry, I saw much better videos for you than this one, so please try to concentrate a bit otherwise I'll hate these products
Thank you for your feedback. I do not work for Toontrack. I create free content for Shootie School. How I act when I am streaming live and unscripted should not reflect on Toontrack, but on me. If you don't like how I act when I am live, consider watching my regular videos instead. I have a ton of free scripted content. Thanks again!
@@ShootieSchool thanks for your very polite reply , if you're not working for them, do you have videos about modo drums and modo bass? Thanks again from Egypt

Carve hours off the learning curve... I love that. Thank you, Brent!!!
Great stuff, thank you! Very helpful to get further than just clicking and dragging pieces together. Would love to see more ezbass!
Thank you, Mad! More on the works.
Nice work Shawn.

That was great Shawn. When I get home I must investigate those marching beats. They’re pretty cool.
After that stream I pulled out the Marching Filter for a student, he was instantly happy to use it during a breakdown bridge section.
Shawn, thank you for a great tutorial. Good job! as always!

Do keep swinging by the monthly streams, Rich. Be the first to shoot some questions, I'll give you some time.
Very nice again, Shawn. Thank you!

I missed the live feed, am now watching it. Bit hard with different time zones.
Australia, right? Hope you got something out of it!

Thank you, Greg!

Hello, sorry for silly unrelated question, but what computer keyboard were you using during this video? I like how it sounds like 😅
I couldn't tell you. I replaced it since. Sorry.

Will there ever be an EZ Guitar plugin??

I use Bandmate sparingly but yes. It’s not in ezbass though
I would have loved to join the livestream but I don't get notifications.
Unsubscribe, then resubscribe, now right next to the subscribe button is a notification button, select "All".
@@ShootieSchool Thanks. Done. I so appreciated all that you do.

@@egyptiansalsero I have only used the free version which I think is great. I have no videos on modo software though.
Please lower you back music it makes it very hard to focus on what your saying.
You make excellent videos - but this was not one of them. Were you drunk or on acid? There was about fifteen minutes of useful content.
Both!!
Once you get past talking so much, I get something out of your content 😁
Try watching my scripted videos instead of my live streams.
