    Daniel, I honestly really enjoy to watch and hear your opnions on this channel. But bloody hell, you really think ppl in 3rd world country will make more than $500/month with all your qualifications? *The answer is no, they don't.* Ppl in 3rd world country should even work their ass off, *working more than 14hrs a day, 6 days a week* and they still couldn't afford that much wage, which is minimum amount you could get from the job center.
    You surely need to travel further than just UK-Japan back and forth to know that.
    I might sounds bitter, but I only tell you the *truth*
    Please be more grateful of what you have, there are more unfortunate ppl in the world.
    Cheers

But a lot of the stories from your RUclips channel I can easily relate to or have had similar experiences, views and opinions. I used to live in Thailand with about 300$ per month. My life was just horrible and I felt terrible and depressed about having nothing. I now earn 1300$ after tax each month in Europe, which is not a crazy amount, but enough to feel a lot better about myself and to further my life goals. I will start university in October and things are looking up. So if you are in a "500 per month" situation just for sitting on your ass, be grateful that your government doesn't let you starve. For those in the third world: Never give up on your dreams, work hard and honest and your dreams might come true. Us people with ambitions, but born in the third world, are by nature tougher, stronger, than people like Daniel.

    If you grew up in a small community where your business was only dealing with the local in your area, you will see you only make enough to barely get by. My family all worked at a large outdoor market and my brother and I would fix shoes for a living. You were lucky at the end of the month if you even saved any money. I think it is crazy how in other countries you can never work yet still be paid 500 a month to do nothing. Some of us out there have to work day in and day out and never have anything by the end of the month. I hope you appreciate what you have Daniel. Being unemployed is so horrible that at times I have to avoid speaking to acquaintes that will ask me what I've currently been up to with my life. I don't understand these big companies, I've successfully finished college and finished my foundation year in uni yet not even retail, temp or agency jobs want to employee me, it seems that these companies have unrealitic requirements which in the end they and up employeeing the wrong person.

      @Alex Santos, I feel you. I'm only 19 and I contemplate life everyday. I'm not very social and I feel extremely uncomfortable being around people who I don't care about, which most jobs here are like that. I did vocational school for 3 years after highschool (was borderline suicidal everyday, because I had to be in a room with 30 fucking people 4-8 hrs a day), but I can't find a job in my own profession due to lacking that "minimum requirement of 1 year of job experience" and jobs that offer that experience without requirements don't pay anything, which means I cannot sustain myself by slaving for free during that entire year, so I could get a real paying job in my own profession. I really wish euthanasia was legal here, because I can't go on living like this and at the same time, I don't have the balls to kill myself, so I try to run away from reality by watching anime, reading manga and playing fantasy video games.

Internet culture is too soft and forgiving in the sense that it gives you a place to "escape" to. In reality nothing about your situation will change unless you make it happen yourself. I'm an introvert and nearly messed my life up by doing the same thing people like Daniel do. Except I decided to change at 23 which is still fairly early enough to turn things around and my life has changed completely for the better. Don't be a Daniel. Succeed. Lack of understanding and appreciation for the people who tried to help you find a job, even though it may seem like they are pissing you off. I got a degree in English (I am Hungarian so while this degree is completely useless in some countries it's actually in demand here because the majority are too lazy to learn a foregin language), I could have a decent job if international companies weren't so picky. I got a pretty standard office job now unrelated to my degree with minimum wage but at least the conditions aren't that bad and it's super stable... Maybe better companies will take me more seriously if I got a few years down to make my CV look better. Anyway, point is the current system is kinda bad for our generation.

      Fr tho I’m 19 and all I see is people complainting about how they have no free time, don’t even have time to freaking eat a single bite of food, and they barely get any sleep IF any at all. I’m not exaggerating! There are people who are in college/university with two jobs and are still struggling badly! I’m terrified of that kind of life. I have HORRIBLE anxiety and I absolutely can’t work under any pressure at all. When I work under pressure I mess up the simplest tasks that 10 year olds can do. This is why I don’t have any work experience. Not to mention the fact that I legit cannot stay focused on something I hate. My mind wonders and I get distracted too easily. To make things even worse there is absolutely nothing that interests me. I don’t have any dreams or passions or skills. I can’t be creative for the life of me. I would work in one of our local coffee shops because I love the chill vibes and aesthetic of coffee shops and I’m a big coffee person, but I can’t because like I said I have bad anxiety and can’t work under pressure. I also can’t memorize things very well at all and pick up on things soooooo slowly. This is why I wanna be youtuber and I’m currently making audio edits of songs but I don’t know if the content I’m making can be monetize. I wanna work from home and be on my boss but also stress free while making good money... any advice? (This was long I’m sorry I just had to get it off my chest)

    I personally think England is nice to give people unemployed benefits, courses for job seeker (even though is boring and repetitive), and the worker in job center make calls for getting people a job (even if it's not paid, at least people get job experience which can be used to apply for different job). Here I am graduated from reputable university, having 2 master degrees, can speak 4 languages, and can use many computer programs; but still unemployed for 1.5 year.
    My country doesn't give any of these help to its people and that's why the criminal rate is high in here...

    This guy is clearly an evolutionary failure by conventional means, the beta male that failed at everything in life. Yet he now has a wife, will most likely pass on his genes, and humans are supporting him through youtube. I'm trying to work out from an evolutionary perspective why he is valued. I notice he does have exceptional verbal communication and expression skills and extremely good memory recall, I believe these are the attributes that humans find valuable in him, that is allowing him to easily pass on his genes. I also believe he is not self conscious at all. Ironically, all these gifted skills would bode extremely well had he pursued any professional career.

      @MickyAspire 6 лет назад +23

      There's no point in analyzing him or anyone that way with modern society and globalization being a thing. Evolution and natural selection are dead, hence we are facing overpopulation as a lot of "evolutionary failures" pass on their genes by mating with other "evolutionary failures", as you describe it. It's just how it is and it'll come back to bite humanity sooner or later. Although I wouldn't call him a failure at all, getting a 9-5 job for the sake of being seen as an equal is exactly the kind of mindless thing people let their existence get reduced to while thinking they're an evolutional success. It's just psychological grooming by modern society to create more wageslaves. In that sense, he is in fact a success by creating his own source of income and becoming independent.

      Micky Aspire but humans have geared it so that you follow the 9-5 drone lifestyle in order to get money, and with money, other humans exchange anything you want in return for you 9-5 'dury'. Also doing something unique can viciously backfire and cause you to fail and lose your '9 to 5' savings . This dude is lucky due to his exception communication and expression skills which from an evolutionary perspective is valuable. The old tried and true virtues of evolution still hold true, even though the short term process of implementing is somewhat slowed from the points you mention

      The way I say it, he is able to pass on his genes because we live in a time of peace. There is no evolutionary pressure for him to become nothing more than a pampered child. He is attractive to Asian women and has a “cute” personality that is reminiscent to a young boy. This plays on the protective instincts of some viewers who donate and enable his lifestyle. Remember that human society it is not one of the survival of the fittest anymore. The gene pool has thus become polluted and will continue to do so until it is cleansed by the next Great War.

    I hated my jobcentre experience too. They were friendly at first but then they wanted me to start working for free because there were no jobs. They also sent me on so many courses. I eventually stopped going for a few months until they stopped paying me. Now I’m working part time at the hospital, have been for over a year now. Currently applying to teach English in Japan like every white nerd ;)

    One thing I never understood about those job center work programmes is this: If they can get you an (essentially) full-time position at somewhere like McDonald's for 40+ hours, why not just give you the *actual* job? Isn't it like killing two birds with one stone? They can get you off the "unemployed statistics" and make it seem like employment is improving whilst at the same time, giveing you an actual job where you make money and pay taxes to support the "system" you just came from?

Korea we worked too much. My sister worked over 60hours a week. Which is illegal. Even government mentioned that you only work 52hours a week. Which is still a lot.
