I buy a lot at Ollie's. The one thing I found is watching the best buy dates.
I could not recommend having a vacuum-sealer more, just to keep cheese in your fridge fresh for AGES, let alone how ell meats and all keep in the freezer. My grandson gave me an electric kettle and I love it! It's fast and uses so much less electricity than a kettle on the stove.

We vacuum seal all freezer meat and veggies we grow. No freezer burn.
If I could only keep one of my electric appliances, it would be my Food Saver. I wish they wouldn't change them every year. From reading about people's experiences, they don't seem to last as long. I've had this one over 10 years it's the third one I've had since the late 80s (?). I want to get a backup, but can't find one that I like as well.
I use mine to seal everything, not just food.
I have a WL jacket with a hood, and I paid $40 at Ollie's. Its so warm and I love it! Its like a Carhart.

I love Ollie’s! Last time I was there I picked up large cans of diced green chilis for $1.79. I divided the chilies up and froze them in small bags. I also found lodge cast iron for $16
Loves Ollies in my area. When looking at the Spices, always look where its distributed cuz if it says China put it back, high in Metal content. Get the european brands/ Their ingredients are healthier than those made here in america.
Sometimes the appliances at Ollies are marked factory refurbished. Haven't been there for a few weeks but the food section was looking pretty sad. We like shopping there because they can have some awesome deals.
The collapsable lantern and flashlight set is a great deal. We bought that set as well as separate flashlights of the same type. They are great little flashlights!
My mom got me and my neighbor those for Christmas. You're right, they're good
We have a new store now, just opened last fall, called Home Buys. It's seasonal, like Ollie's, kinda like Big Lots and Home Goods combined. If you haven't checked ine out, you might want to. We like it.

I also got a huge bag of walnuts for baking for $3.49. And they weren't stale!
Those Pacific soups in quarr boxes are $5.99 each at Publix. $1.79 is a great price. Be sure the plastic tab isn't breached on top
And that tomato one is delicious

Hiya Danno! I got great stuff cheap at Ollie's last week: awesome Polaroid sports binoculars ($19.99); Aerosoles slippers ($8.99); Cascade dishwasher pods ($4.49); a nice Americana design t-shirt ($3.99). They had LOTS of good deals on Mens Carhartt clothing and insulated overalls. Great for guys working outdoors in the cold weather.

Olles is not as cheap as it used to be but......its my go to for kitchen ware, spices and an appliance that I want to play with before investing more for better. My friend always buys his fishing stuff there as well. You have to be careful though! Bought a carpet cleaner that stopped working after 6 months . my second one has lasted 5 years, all are refubished.
If you are lucky enough to sign up in the store, they will send you a coupon for 15 to 20% off including sale stuff.

I like the book section too. Those coveralls are good. Sometimes they drop to 49. I bought for my son who works outside on heating and air units.

We have an Ollie’s here, but I’ve only been in once a few years ago.

I love shopping at Ollie's. We actually got the oven air fryer that you pointed out, a while back. It is ok, but I prefer the regular basket airfryer myself. Unless you have a lot of counter space, the thing is pretty big and all of the things you can do with it, besides air frying, can be done in the oven. If you don't have a oven, say like at a vacation spot, it would be great! I wanted to let everyone know to be careful leaving anything lose, especially bungee cords in the back of your truck! My best friend and I were going down the highway and he had one that he forgot to put up and it was sucked through and messed up his gas tank and put a hole through his back window! We thought someone had shot at us. It was crazy. 2 days after we dropped his truck off at the mechanics, he got another truck in for the same reason! Be careful! Secure your items when not in use.

All those knudsen drinks are about 70% water, like flavored water, not juice... Except one store had a good organic orange carrot juice (100% juice) in glass bottle for same price.
Ollies is great though... Mostly go there for the food items. Never know when they get some overstock from an organic company, so gotta go every two weeks.
When its something we can really use, ill go to numerous ollies for thst product and be set for a year or two.
I go to Ollie's and usually forget my 15% off coupon. I couldn't find the size trash bags I wanted. I now check the zip lock bags to get them on a sale price. They have good prices and some good things. But I go there last as I see things I don't need mainly..I buy coffee cups there sometimes, kitchen aid needs. Stainless steel bowls. Bed sheets the best prices i found. Same for shower and bath needs,curtain, hooks,soap dish etc. This video had an ollies commerical. Moving up..
Besides Jungle Jim's, Joe-the-Husband wants to go to Cincinnati to see your Aldis and Ollie's. So much better than ours.

I was just there yesterday but 2 pieces of 5 / 7 carpeting. That was a good price
I get most of my spices at Ollie's. I got some really good honey coated sesame sticks there. I would like to check out the ceiling fans as I'm due for a new one in my master bedroom. I usually get them and light fixtures at The ReStore. I bought one of the Ollie's reusable bags they have at checkout for .99 and use it at Aldi's. 😊
Tarps here are thin (at least ones I bought), but okay to cover a kids bike outside, lawn mower, etc. My Ollies didn't have thick ones.

You might want to check housewares at Meijer some time. At the beginning of the school year they had tons of heavy duty storage containers at great prices.
They have been working on an Ollie's in my area and it started in about August of last year and they are STILL NOT OPEN! Supposedly, they are opening in March. At this point, I will believe it when I see it.

@@AdventureswithDanno Thank you!! We have a few "bargain outlets" around here. Mostly, local businesses, not national chains, that seem to get their products from other locations, and their Best By or "Expiration Dates" are near or, not often, just past.
Ours has only been open a few months, and most of the shelves are low on everything.
