Yes, my entire family had tickets to Bohol, one of our most popular islands, when the lockdowns cancelled everything in 2020. But we finally got to take that trip last month and it was extra special because my husband turned 60 during that trip.

Tiring flight! But at least Singapore Airlines is really good! My retirement replacement lived in Manila, but just left for Spain. Small world... with long flights in between!

It's really hot in the phils. That is the geographical location of d country, it's near the equator. If u don't like d climate u may go but first see d country & see what it can offer you guys.

On the move again. Staying on the flight must of been daunting in Johannesburg. My heart aches whenever the plane takes off in South Africa. Leaving my beautiful country. Tiredness is a major when travelling, one really cannot be bothered but then on the other hand you miss out. IF WILLIE WONKA HAD A GARDEN 😂😂😂 David with his sense of humour always has me laughing. I felt a little overwhelmed at Singapore Airport, very big , no one to help. I think entering another country especially at the airport, it’s like okay where to now. Mmmmm in the Phillipians, you know what you walk into that accomodation and all you see is shower and rest. Take care Sarah and David. ENJOY ❤

OK so you just got to Manila Philippines, cool so what's on the itinerary for you guys? I would suggest not to touch local street food the first day unless you have built up tolerance of the street food already you can get food poisoning real easy, sanitation of street food handling might be a little rough on the edges to say the least flies are everywhere. So make sure you eat everything that is being cooked in front of you. Do not go for halo halo right away the milk they use comes from a can of evaporated milk if you have stomach sensitivity the milk preservatives can give you stomach problems I went there back in 2005 I know longtime ago but nonetheless the milk is not easy on the stomach. Go to a spiral buffet. It looks like you guys have enough budget to do so. Note Philippines has casino's and huge shopping malls. I hope you guys enjoy your stay there.

$11 for a 40 min drive is a steal. It's like $70 for an Uber from Heathrow to central London so
yeah it's quite cheap for sure.
Because of distance , less South Africans are coming to Philippines.. Make a good videos of travel adventures in the country and showcase this to your followers. Show them the beauty of the Philippines. Enjoy your stay.
