Kendrick’s performance was electric. I was mesmerised by him & the thing the gentleman didn’t like is what I loved, his movement & flow was outstanding. The rest was just nostalgic epicness. Definitely my top two but Prince will always be number one!

If you go back to the video, each of them had 2 songs. Eminem did only one. Eminem send a message to the people in charge (including Dr Dre and Jay Z) in which he stated, if 50 isn't included, he, Eminem, was not going to be part of it. So we all know what happened. That's the reason for 50 and Eminem doing only one song each! Eminem is such an incredible friend. He decided to share his time with 50! I've seen in the documentary of The making of...that they decided to keep 50 a secret. No one was to mention him at all. I guess they did that just in case they decided to drop then both.
I would like to add another comment. 50 did an interview in which he let everyone know that Eminem and him came to an agreement so 50 would develop a tv series titled "8 MILE"! Prince has the best halftime show IMO. This is my second favorite. Michael Jackson third. Personal opinion. But this was a great set and performances! Though I agree, if they had added like another ~5 minutes to the set it would have been a lot better. They deserved more time with so many high profile artists killing it! Not liking MJB and Kendrick, but loving Eminem was kind of cringe though... 👀. Kendrick might have been the highlight of the whole thing and may well be the current best active rapper -- speaking of which he needs to release another album ASAP!

Great review! Everyone is entitled to their own opinions. It was a great half time show and it had me pumped but I agree with the Kendrick Lamar comment from the new shade, Greg. It doesn’t speak to me either because I’m not familiar with his music. I loved everyone else because I know their repertoire. It was a great half time show. I’ll always be in love with Dre, Snoop, Eminem, MJB aka queen of soul, fitty , and Kendrick since I heard them for the first time I heard them starting in late 80s and early 90s. But I’m just giving my personal opinion when I say she didn’t fit in with the other performers. She looked out of place. I bet it’ll be better if she does her own Super Bowl performance next SB1/2 time. BTW Eminem said he’ll do it but he wants “ fitty cent” to perform with them therefore he had to cut down his time in 1/2 so 50 can perform too. Oh and when Dre got the call about the 1/2 performance he calls Snoop and tells him “ they want me to perform at the SB but I don’t know if I want to do it.” Snoop did an interview on Drink Champs where he discussed everything and lots of 411 on everything regarding the performance and owning death row and how it all came about.
I loved this halftime show all the legends performing everyone in my parents house who are 57 to my daughter who is 16 was singing along and dancing they put on a great show 50 isn't fat he looks good also my Bengals were in the Superbowl even tho we lost it was a great moment for who dey Nation🧡🖤🧡🖤 also I think em picked to do lose yourself because he had to make it family friendly and most of his other songs have cuss words in it but it also hyped up the teams and crowd for the rest of the game our kicker stayed on our sideline to watch the halftime show lol

I agree with all ya'll. MJ was THE best, but Prince was legendary in their time...last year's J.Lo/Shakira also killed it. I would've liked an image of Tupac, not necessarily a hologram, but something to represent another fallen icon while his music was rendered. I truly enjoyed this and also agree that 13 minutes was a bit of a "teaser", not so much a show. 50Cent looking like a whole dollar made me LMAO. Thanks.

Prince has the best halftime show IMO. This is my second favorite. Michael Jackson third. Personal opinion. But this was a great set and performances! Though I agree, if they had added like another ~5 minutes to the set it would have been a lot better. They deserved more time with so many high profile artists killing it!
Not liking MJB and Kendrick, but loving Eminem was kind of cringe though... 👀.
Kendrick might have been the highlight of the whole thing and may well be the current best active rapper -- speaking of which he needs to release another album ASAP!

Fun fact. While recording 2001. Dr. Dre snd Snoop had writers block and could not come up with anything to the Still D.R.E. best so Dre called Jay-Z for help. Jay-Z wrote the whole song. This stemmed from Dre working with Jay-Z's Blueprint 2 album, The Watcher 2 song.

Great review! Everyone is entitled to their own opinions. It was a great half time show and it had me pumped but I agree with the Kendrick Lamar comment from the new shade, Greg. It doesn’t speak to me either because I’m not familiar with his music. I loved everyone else because I know their repertoire. It was a great half time show. I’ll always be in love with Dre, Snoop, Eminem, MJB aka queen of soul, fitty , and Kendrick since I heard them for the first time I heard them starting in late 80s and early 90s. But I’m just giving my personal opinion when I say she didn’t fit in with the other performers. She looked out of place. I bet it’ll be better if she does her own Super Bowl performance next SB1/2 time.
BTW Eminem said he’ll do it but he wants “ fitty cent” to perform with them therefore he had to cut down his time in 1/2 so 50 can perform too.
Oh and when Dre got the call about the 1/2 performance he calls Snoop and tells him “ they want me to perform at the SB but I don’t know if I want to do it.”
Snoop did an interview on Drink Champs where he discussed everything and lots of 411 on everything regarding the performance and owning death row and how it all came about.
I loved this halftime show all the legends performing everyone in my parents house who are 57 to my daughter who is 16 was singing along and dancing they put on a great show 50 isn't fat he looks good also my Bengals were in the Superbowl even tho we lost it was a great moment for who dey Nation🧡🖤🧡🖤 also I think em picked to do lose yourself because he had to make it family friendly and most of his other songs have cuss words in it but it also hyped up the teams and crowd for the rest of the game our kicker stayed on our sideline to watch the halftime show lol
