  • Sūrat aḍ-Ḍuḥā (Arabic: الضحى‎, "The Morning Hours", "Morning Brilliant") is the ninety-third sura of the Qur'an with 11 ayat. The Surah takes its name Aḍ-Ḍuḥā from the absolute first word.
In spite of the fact that there is some discussion among researchers, this sura is frequently viewed as the second uncovered to Muhammad. After the principal sura (al-Alaq) was gotten, there was a time of quiet where no further messages were uncovered. During this time, the new Prophet contemplated whether he had some way or another disappointed God, who it appeared for some time was done sending down His message. This sura ended that quietness, and consoled Muhammad that all will be grasped in time. The picture of the morning (promotion Dhuha) is the principal expression of the sura, and can be perceived as representing Muhammad's "new day" as the Courier of God, as well as the "first light" of the better approach for life that would become Islam. After this sura, the appearances of Gabriel with the expressions of the Qur'an would come to Muhammad consistently until his passing.
As a result of topic, length, style, and position in the Qur'an, this sura is frequently combined with Sura Al-Inshirah. They are by and large considered to have been uncovered around a similar time.
