This scale model is built to a better standard of finish than most UK-built vintage Minis were straight from the factory. Such an incredible level of detail; it boggles the mind to think how many hours went into this outstanding build. Thank you for documenting your work, A4 Garage!

There is so much more to this than beautifully made models built with surgical precision. The hours and hours of research that has to be done beforehand to ensure accuracy. The preparation for the filming and the editing process must take days. Finally taking the time to reply to every single message shows true gratitude. This is so much more than just another RUclips video, it's a work of art.

When it came out of the box it was just a piece of plastic that was vaguely shaped like a Morris Mini Cooper, now it's a real miniature Morris Mini Cooper. A masterpiece made of art, ability, patience, attention to detail, creativity and a lot of study of the car in question. Never seen such a thing before!

I wanted to leave the same comment on the reversed windscreen wipers. Technically they are wrong. I checked online and many real cars also have reversed windscreen wipers both on the right-hand drive and left. At the factory they must have done a lot of confusion or went to savings money. So even if wrong is realistic... 😄👍🏻

You're right ... Searching "1964 Morris Mini" are almost all to the right the wipers. Analyzing the thing, I noticed that the wiper pins are symmetrical, then technically the glass is always cleaned as regards where the wipers rest. Like the old 911... Follow the same rule, right hand, right wipers.
      👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

Absolutely brilliant! One tiny point: from about 1962 until 1970 a small chrome button was used to fill the gap between the door and the tip of the door handle, to stop the handle catching in clothes and tearing them off! You cut it off the door moulding. You might want to replicate it in metal, easily done for someone with your amazing skills. Bravo!

But my logic is this, of course it's cool that you know that you have a super detailed model, but alas, in life you will open it a maximum of 5 times and then just to show others, and the rest of the time it is on the shelf and you see only the external beauty

An absolutely magnificent model of my favourite car. I don't think I have ever seen a model where so much hand made detail has been put into it. I enjoyed watching you build it.

...and for his next trick, the Mini-Cooper engine will start, the interior/exterior lights will function, and a life-like driver dressed in appropriate driving clothes/gloves will promptly drive this vehicle away!
    Fantastic skills and patience.

    You are more than great..
The folding rear number plate holder choked me..
Only the exterior rear view round mirrors are missing, in the mark 1&2 with the sliding windows & hinged doors they were fitted on the front wings..
    God bless you ❤️

    • @David_Walker16-3-51
      @David_Walker16-3-51 2 года назад +2

The mirrors were not a standard fitment, they were installed by the dealer if required.

@@David_Walker16-3-51 that's correct, but in a cooper S like this with all the extras including the folding plate holder, monza fuel cap & boot lid lining, my suggestion to the respeted owner to fit them.. Am kidding of course 😉
You know, even the inner chrome door handles were an extra optional accessory, normally Minis come with a pulling wire as a standard feature instead..
