I love all of The Veils records, but this is their first and still best song even in 2021. I used to prefer the album version, but this single edit has grown on me

How gorgeous is this man? It's a blast from the past to hear this song again after so many years and I remember it inspired me to write a lyric that I have to look up now, but watching this video I'd forgotten how beautiful he is. Granted, this look is more androgynous compared to what he looks like now, but my god.
I was 4 when this song came out and, obviously, did not know it back then. It still bums me that they don't play this song live any more. I totally understand that playing a song that you wrote when you were 14 is kinda weird, but this is still their best song to date. Especially the album version. There is something so magical about the instrumentals that I absolutely love

I love both versions, it's so weird to me that the "extended" version is so completely different, with minor lyric changes throughout the entire song, the piano parts are so different too, and everything else!

Sweet song!! Would have been a major hit in the 80's or 90's. Heard it first as part of the sound track to the movie "The Upside of Anger". Movie was ok, but this song stood out.

I liked The Veils way before I even knew who Placebo were, but now, being a huge fan of both, I can totally see how people think this song sounds a bit like Molko's voice, it totally does- the nasally, higher pitched thing. And I mean that in a good way, both bands are incredible.
